Well my suggestion is to create a reserve team of Real Madrid. I'll request a one player not so brillant but he's in the history of Real, it must be a joke, but I would be like to see his stats. Is the singer Julio IGLESIAS (former goalkeeper from Real) :D

what on earth are you talking about?
how could he not be in the squad?
the stadiums named after him for christs sake!
he's easily the most important person in real madrids history
he also scored over 200 goals for madrid and was club captain in the early 20's
thats qualified in my books

First of all: Sorry, if my English isn't perfect, but I'll try my best.

Santiago Bernabéu was surely one of the most important persons in the history of Real Madrid and it is also said that he scored over 1200 goals during his career. But that had been in the 1920s where football matches ended usually 6-7, or something like that. Moreover he played with Real in a regional championship with teams who don't exist any more or are in the fourth or fifth Spanish League today...
I also read in a book that he didn't have a good technic and made weak headers. That's why I think that he doesn't fit into a All Time Real Madrid although he had been its most magnificent president.

PS: Santillana was RIGHT foot(!) or at least both feeted. And sorry for double post...

Bernebeu was certainly influential enough to be in the team. Decided to replace him with Zamorano who is in Inter milan All Stars anyway

Pretty good squad i'll consider it, but no Redondo or Kopa?

I think Kopa who played only three years at Madrid is more a Stade Reims legend. That's why I took him out of the team.
Redondo was truly a Madrid legend and I took him out only because all the other players I have chosen for the midfield are still more important than him.
I hate it that you can only put 32 players into a squad! :(

Guti is in the top ten of the players with the most appearences for Real Madrid and he gave much more for the club than Redondo ever did...

If you are interested in Santiago Bernabéu's face and stats, then look at here, I already created him like some other Real Madrid legends: http://pes-creator.forum2jeux.com/crati ... 95-900.htm

Guti has this number of appearences because he's been in Real's first team for 12 years I think, so he had time enough to reach a high number of matches. Despite this, I don't think he's never been a truly important player in Madrid's success, and never been a first XI fixture(only Capello's year, when he was the only playmaker).

IMO you can't compare a guy that has been loads of years a sub and never really succeed with a guy that is considered by many to be one of the bests DM ever, although fisrt one played a lot more years than second.

Well, I've included both Redondo and Guti in my squadlist for Real Madrid All Stars. There is no room for other players since the squadlist has reached its max. It's a squadlist that includes players from both Raúl-7 & Brezza's squadlists. It fits perfectly.

HOWEVER...

Any chance that SOMEONE could make stats for:
- Bernabéu
- Chendo
- Rial
- Del Bosque

..? I am trying to finish the OF for PES6, but I need stats for those palyers. Any chance that someone can compile a set, perhaps?

Team: Liverpool FC, no second team.
Players: J. Zanetti, D. Kuyt, Ganso & T. Henry
Me: A mental, physical and conditioning oriented person/stats'er

What about Manolo Velázquez? He was the brain in Madrid's midfield over 10 years during the 60s and 70s and was one of its best centre midfielders ever! Could please someone make him?

I'll create Grosso soon. Do you know his height and weight? (and from Velázquez, too?)

Miguel Munoz and Vicente Del Bosque should be added to the reserves! They belong without any doubt to the best centre midfielders Real Madrid ever had.

Furthermore Makelele should be replaced by Ignacio Zoco in the first squad. Zoco is considered being one of the most important members of the "El Madrid Yé-Yé" squad and spent 12 years at Madrid always being one of the most consistent players. However Makelele only played three seasons for Real Madrid and he surely never enjoyed the status Zoco had had among the fans. In my opinion Makelele is more a Chelsea legend and that's why he should be moved to the reserves.

Same case for Kopa. Although being the third best ever French footballer he never was very happy in Madrid because he always had to play as a right winger, a position he didn't like too much... He's definitely a Stade Reims legend, so Manolo Velázquez should be added to the first squad because he was the playmaker of the legendary Madrid squad of the sixties. He isn't very well known but due to his playing style he was called "the brain" of Real Madrid. Moreover he played almost his whole career for this club being the true heart in the midfield who was a brilliant passer of the ball, too.
