I believe the stats in the 1st post were done by a collaboration b/n Lukassch, Kendees & xv63.

Also, I might consider raising his Response a couple points as he is finally adapting to the pace, and showing his insticts in the midfield. Also i still might lower his Bal by 1 to a 74 as I suggested on the old site.

I also was reading through the old site, and I don't know how we settled on 90 agility. He was like an 84 in Red's last update, and people gradually were raising it in their stats, and now its at 90 putting him on par with Micolli and above Lavezzi and Mascara :?

But looking at the index he also gave Berba an [color=yellow]86/color] for technique :o .

I don't know who you are referring to when you say "he", because modric's stats evolved into what they are now slowly. Berbatov's technique was the greatest small club bias this site has seen. Honestly his skill was just as good when he was on Tottenham, but since he wasn't at ManU, no one cared or was bold enough to give a big number. It bothers me, and that is why with the smaller Serie A clubs I am trying to be careful not to overrate, but to also not let that happen. But outside of a couple guys there really aren't people helping to prevent that...i.e. look in Liverani's thread :(

Edit: also look what I wrote in the Bently thread. I was serious. If he was on ManU right now, he would be David Beckham  :P

Giving him 90 for agility was initially my idea (Lukassch on the old site).

I think that he deserves it, he is really twisty and turny. His agility is clearly one of his biggest assets.

Although it can be tad too high, maybe something like 88 would be enough? I'm not sure, what do you think about that?

BTW I have some other suggestions:

Stamina: 85
Short pass speed: 82
Technique: 87

I was thinking 88 agility, 82-84 response. Not sure about the other suggestions. They seem minor...but they are your stats, so I'm sure you have a good grasp of him.

He deserves greater balance, cause since i've been watchin' him(around 4 years),i haven't seen him dive, he doesn't have great shot power(rarely scores from distance and if it's out 16m box it's mostly technical shot). He also was in top5 of euro qualifying stages for ( % of passes completed),so BALANCE-84,SHOT POWER -76,SHOT TECHNIQUE -84,SHORT PASS ACCURACY-85,SHORT PASS SPEED-89. He is The Best Croatian Player since Dado Prso. Vozdra

I have not seen him as much as you have, but I totally disagree with your Balance suggestion at least. He is very easy to push over. Not even close to the likes of Simplicio(82). Not even sure he is better in balance than Mascara(73). I originally suggested 74. I really like this player, but balance is far from a strength of his ;)

Yes he is pushed a lot, but that's cause he has low posture and weight, but almost every time when he's pushed it's a foul, cause he plants his feet strong, but anyway you do what you wanna do.

Modric is surely not that strong Petar, i know it often looks like you can't rush him down but we often got stupid fouls on Modric and for example today against Romania he didn't show that he's that strong i think balance should stay as it is now, but i think he's mental very strong he's really fighting for balls that let him look like that he's strong(balance) so it would be better raising his mentality some points than his balance,

and like you(Petar) said his shot are weaker than his current value 82 i would go for something like 77/78

Petar99 wrote:,so BALANCE-84,SHOT POWER -76,SHOT TECHNIQUE -84,SHORT PASS ACCURACY-85,SHORT PASS SPEED-89. He is The Best Croatian Player since Dado Prso. Vozdra

it is already on 85  , and does he really deserves that high value for SPS??His passes are fast and very often exact but i don't think that he deserves 89 maybe it could go up some points to 84/85

for Agility i would leave it as it is because i think thats his main weapon to perform quick movements and first time passes

Yeah I watched Romania game it's true he had silly situation when player was on his back and his feet just cut off(out of nothing), maybe he's becomin' premiership player :D too fast.

Modric seemed exhausted against Romania from the very 1st minute... I know he's really agile but 90 is stretching it, yeah he does some quick moves but generally its a balanced combination of technique and agility

about his balance... he never struck me as a very strong player so 84 is a ridiculous suggestion, 77 is probably the highest for him

True he was very tired, he plays too many matches for tottenham, as Redknapp doesn't have appropriate substitute for him.

This is really going nowhere. I think Modric should be judged at the end of the season when there is a better picture of how he is progressing/regressing.

No one's sure about anything, and those who seem to be are clearly wrong.

On a completely different subject I'd lower his ST, he doesn't strike the ball as well as Tugay or Morten Gamst Pedersen, it should probably be about 77 on par with Fabregas and Wright-Phillips.
