These stats are a little old. He was 22 when the last time these stats were edited. I've seen one match River Plate vs. San Lorenzo, plus I don't have a good feel for the S.A. Ladders. But I will give my opinions of what I saw, and hopefully it will help make these stats better.

Defence: 51
Response: 73
I did feel that his response was poor, and was really no help in defense. But I'm not sure if a 73 is a normal value. I am figuring he has probably improved in this area in the last two years. I was thinking 75/76 response.

Stamina: 78
Condition/Fitness: 5
In 2008 he started in 42 matches and was used as a sub in 1 match. He played in the full match all but 7 of the 42 matches he started in. Again, I don't know the standards for this league, but I was figuring 82 stamina & 6 cond :?

Mentality: 71(possibly this could be slightly higher. Wasn't very good in defense, but he did try to help out.)

Why did he lose the *Passing?

His passing is very good, and could see both his LPA & LPS being raised. Gets good distance & quality on CKs & LFKs.

My Suggestions:
Response: 77
Stamina: 82
Condition/Fitness: 6
Mentality: 75
Long Pass Acc.: 82
Long Pass Speed: 80
*Passing

Thoughts?

he is a great FK one of the best in the league, scored many goals. he also scored a couples of long shots. he has a good shooting technique and is very offensive as he played sometimes as WG, he is also quite good dribbling with the ball better than the previous stat saids.

i'm compering him with vangioni for example they play kinda in the same position.

If I'm not mistaken...doesn't Vangioni play more as a WB or SB...and Abelairas plays a SMF/CMF role?
See you still haven't justified your stats. Saying he deserves an 84FKacc because he is good at them is obvious. But why 84...why not 83 or 85? You see what I am saying? For Instance, I'll use Serie A ladders again as a comparison.
86: Eugenio CORINI

85: Luís FIGO, Adrian MUTU, Francesco TOTTI

84: Gaetano D'AGOSTINO, David PIZARRO

83: Vitorino ANTUNES, Cristian Daniel LEDESMA, DIEGO

82: Cristian CHIVU, Marek JANKULOVSKI, Pavel NEDVED, Julio CRUZ

81: Manuel PASQUAL, Juan Manuel VARGAS, Andrea ZANCHETTA, Angelo PALOMBO, Cristiano DONI, Mark BRESCIANO, Mario BALOTELLI, Antonio CASSANO, Rubén OLIVERA

80: Aleksandar KOLAROV, Edgar BARRETO, Riccardo MONTOLIVO, Jesús DÁTOLO, ADAILTON, Nicolae DICÃ, Sebastian GIOVINCO, Júlio BAPTISTA

All of these people are outstanding FK takers, who scored goals off of them. That is why they are 80+.

Also keep in mind that FK acc is only about direct FKs, and you also need to consider SPow, SA(slightly) and Curl.

This needs to be thoroughly evauated for every suggestions. There needs to be good logic since you are not yet an established stats maker. PLease feel free to use Argentine comparisons, so Messias18 can discuss them with you. I personally am more familiar with the Serie A ladders ;)

look, vangioni plays as SMF - WF sometimes

and really i don't know many of the players with 84 like d'agostino so is useless to me the serie A ladder, but i do know cruz and nedved and i think abelairas is not better than them in FKA so 82 is fine

See...you just proved my point. It obviously isn't useless because you know Cruz and Nedved, and know that Abelairas isn't better. So you did use the ladder, and focused on the people you are familiar with. There are a lot of Argentines in all leagues, so many leagues ladders should be useful to you ;)

Once we have close to as many players as the Brazilian League I'll ask Deity86....but it would be too much work right now, because this league is still expanding so much.

Hi, here is my opinion about some of the stats:

Defence: 55 <--- I think a 62 or 63 would be correct. He isn't that bad defending, despite he's more attacker than defender.

Short Pass Accuracy: 76 |
Short Pass Speed: 75 |
Long Pass Acc.: 81 |
Long Pass Speed: 82 |
|
|--> I should drop a bit he's long area and rise the short one. He has a good vision of the field but he doesn't make long passes to often. He's very good at short passing.

Shot Technique: 74 --> I'd lower this one a bit, I've seen him having trouble sometimes with shoots with uncomfortable ball position.

Cheers!
