I reckon that you could boost his Balance further. He relies a lot on his strength rather than skill to get past players, although he can be lacking in one on one battles - hence why the comparisons to Vieira often fall flat. Perhaps an 85/86 value?

On the other hand, there can be a definite comparison to Vieira when it comes to Fer's positional sense. He's positionally sound when it comes to defending and his Defence value should definitely be raised from a 60. On the other hand, his versatlity has prevented him from being in one set position so an increase in his Defence could prove awkward. So I'm unsure on a specific value just yet.

He does cover massive chunks of the pitch and does an awful lot of running, quite typical of a youngster. But unlike most young players, he doesn't tire out quickly and doesn't show to much fatigue when he plays. Again, I'm thinking that this could - potentially - go to a similar value as his Balance.

I'm also unsure of his current TS value. Over the course of a long run he gets outpaced quite easily, proving not to be overly fast. Does the current 81 reflect that well?

His Response definitely needs an increase, though. He responds very quickly to sudden changes of tempo and reacts quickly to a nearby loose ball, although sometimes his lack of pace prevents him from getting there as fast as he would like.

I don't think that I said he was slow  I was just wondering whether the 81 for TS would enable him to be outpaced over a long distance ;)

It's also good to see that you kept his Team Work low. How many times have we seen him ignore the opportunity to make a golden pass just so that he could take a crack at goal?

I think you could possibly swap around the positions a bit Fides. It's been a while since he's played as a full-back, don't think he deserves that position anymore really. Moreso, I feel he's a registered CM with SM, AM and DM as secondary positions. He's a very versatile midfielder, being able to cover the entire line in the Feyenoord formation.

Buon compleanno, il pibe d'oro.

Gavev him the update he needed. He is probably the most developing player in the Eredivisie at the moment.
Any comments or suggestion (what about the stars?)

What do you think about a playmaking and a tactical dribbling star?

Fer has to have the DM position, cause he is more playing controlling. He is such an attacking mindend midfielder who plays just in front of the defense.
IMO he is really allround and can play at the whole midfield.
Following the current stats, i have a few suggests:
Attack: 73 - I think he is really solid in attack and he could be easily one par with Brama and Mendes da Silva, and one point under Schaars.
Defence: 67 - Fer is defensively reliable and his current rating does it really short.
Short Pass Accuracy: 79 - He passes good and accurate, so 79 rates him well IMO.
Technique: 79 - Fer has good technical skills and I think 79 is good for now, one point above Engelaar and Gabri.

Attack: Is well rated cuz if you look at his aggression 83 is pretty high for a central midfielder,
for example Demy de Zeeuw has 73 ATT / 81 AGG and is a player who's much more involved in scoring opportunities and puts himself in good positions in front of goal than Fer. So i disagree
Defence: Could agree on this
Short Pass Accuracy: Disagree, don't think he warrants to be in pair with guys like Strootman, Mertens, Van der Heijden etc.
Technique: Disagree, current value fits him well

DEF Updated!

I find these stats very accurate made, i have just a couple suggestions..

Maybe he's LPS and LPA overrated? i never really see him passing long, though i don't doubt that he can, so maybe it's okay.

I saw someone suggestioning giving him a higher BB, well i agree 84 is more then enough he is strong but for now 84 is fine.

IMO he's TW is a bit higher 82 i suggest.

Consistency maybe 7 ?

Hmm I will take a look on his LPA/S next weeks. Not sure about that.

I dont think his TW is that great yet. And, well, he is not that consistent to be honest.

What about the cards I suggested?

Agree with box to box.

Free roaming, i do find that he sticks mostly in the center. sides not that much, but is free roaming not something more for a playmaking-type?

what the PES discription?

You can find the descriptions here: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=19461

P15 – Free Roaming (CM, SM, AM, SS) (Offensive)
A player with a keen eye for goal who surges forward at any given opportunity.

But I think I disagree on my own suggestion....because I feel he lacks that "keen eye".

At the moment Fers development came to a hold a bit because he is now used as a sub by Been.

I'm glas you think so, because he pretty complete. But not a goal scorer, or a 'keen eye' indeed.
