I think TW and passing abilities are not right anymore. Unfortunately he is not such an outstanding player anymore like he was at WC 2006... TW should be on one level with Josué and so 85.

Passing (both) should be on the level around 80 or 81, max. 82. For example Hitzlspergers passes are more precise and faster.

Technique is IMO also a bit too high, 83 is too close to Ballack. In this discipline he is behind players like Özil, Schweinsteiger, also Rolfes. I suggest to set it on 80.

I'm also not sure about the playmaking*. He just not such a good player anymore http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/bund ... el/510150/ though he is of course still important for Werder.

I disagree... Especially ST is very high already. And he is not a fast player. SA is to high IMO, 78 is an outstanding value for a defensive midfielder. He's not a scorer like Ballack, so I think this one should not be green.

Additionally to my mimd ATT and DEF are both a bit too much. There is a reason why he is not playing for the national team anymore...

And Acc shouldn't be higher, he's not so fast, sometimes he loses the ball because of his slowness. And he isn't so tall than Rolfes or Hitzlsperger, so with a higher speed value he would be even fast than both.

For me TW and ST are overrated in Heui's set. I would keep the current value for TW (85) and reduce ST even to 74 as he hardly show good shots lately (no goal this season). He seems to concentrate more and more on the defence, so AGG maybe even on 73.

I read in this forum that mentality affects the AGG, and with this high MENT and average AGG he would probably react too offensive.

If Shot Technique is decreased to 73 (strange that you first says 74, and then in the summary 73, Shubi^^), then in my opinion his Shot Accuracy should be decreased. I see like before his ST above his SA.

And wasn't Mentality at 87? Now, with Aggression 73 and Mentality 84 he still would play much deeper than before.

Mmh, his passing was never really extremely outstanding, in my eyes Frings never had abilities you would call world class. But especially at his best times he was something like a complete package with nearly no real weaknesses at all. Additionally with an outstanding never-give-up mentality.

His passes are ok, but not very precise or always with the perfect speed. And with the current stats he is not bad in comparison to other defensive midfielders in the Bundesliga, Van Bommel for instance.

I think he does play much deeper than in the past now. A few years ago he played very offensive, but since Baumann is not playing anymore he has to concentrate on the defence as Hunt and Özil in front of him play very offensive. Maybe he also plays a bit more defensive because his stamina is not the same like when he was 29 anymore.

His shooting is not easy to rate these days, as he hardly shoots on the goal. In the past he was a very good scorer from the distance. But I think with such a high SP and still decent ST and SA (for a defensive midfielder) you will still be able to do some dangerous shots on the goal with him in PES.
