I mentioned stuff...but there really hasn't been much discussion. And the Serie A Def ladder for CF's hasn't had much follow though with the "Revolution". I don't think his def should be 10 higher than Pellissier, Rocchi etc.

Then change Pellisier and Rocchi, so we can kick start this 'revolution'.

"I guarantee fourth place" - Rafael Benitez.

just assign Cavani a value and letsn move from there. IMO Defense @ 44-45 and mentality @ 82-84

Like I said before I'd rather give a higher def, and keep mentality lower so it isn't on the same level as Iaquinta, Pellissier, Rocchi.

Fine, I'll just make the changes.

Notes:
CF 7 Cavani - playing as a RWF/Goes back almost like a SMF/more defensive than Pastore/Chivu matching Cavani's run/bad spass giveaway/open at back post and missed goal/might be up to 77-78 res/moved to LWF/not bad LP attempt from deep/*side/poor spass give away/

CF 7 Cavani - good jump/bad header/tracks back pretty far/lot of running for a CF/poor tw link up on spass/likes to do one touch passes and then give and go...but his passes aren't always to his own team/tech and res might be slightly better than I previously rated/

CF 7 Cavani - rebounded basically for an open goal, and launched it/a terrible 1 touch pass in the box to kill att/"worst player of the 1st half"/good half volley RF goal/showed better ST than SA/RF blast into box almost assist/

Some slight tweaks:
Position: CF*, WF
Defence: 51(+2)
Stamina: 86(+1)
Response: 77(+1)
Short Pass Speed: 71(-1)
Long Pass Acc.: 68(+1)
Long Pass Speed: 72(+3)

what about the Cond 7? never missed a match this season(15), and made like 84 matches previous two seasons with palermo+NT.

Sure...updated that too...I tend to overlook Cond and Cons.

More notes...vs Cagliari & Milan:
CF 7 Cavani - not finishing well/some hard 1st touches/he is just terrible/

CF 7 Cavani - blew a chance in the openning few min/made a great run to get onto a great through pass from miccoli, and then shot it wide/looking fast/tried to take on nesta 1v1 and failed/playing on the left side/terrible RF cross/"very lively"/his decision making for the most part is terrible, has bad vision/got space with ball on his LF but missed by a lot, good power/

Great, can't wait to see them. But look at my notes from the last 2 games...it's obvious his shooting is inconsistent and his ST is way better than his SA ;)

what do you think Jason about a point more in his BB?
i mean,Hernandez got his same value with a cm more and 2 kgs more. Cavani seems much more useful on post playing and defending some balls. what do you think? and if an update is needed,Cavani on 83 or Hernandez @81? Doesent really got crunched by Felipe (Hernandez),so probably 82 could stay.

I'd rather lower Abel H. because I tested out these stats and I'm more familiar with Cavani. So I'm more confident in these being correct.

his shot accuracy seems too low despite his mistakes in every match he played, it could perfectly fit in the 78-79 range:
79: Javier PASTORE, Ezequiel LAVEZZI, Massimo MARAZZINA, MAXI LÓPEZ, Claudio BELLUCCI, Igor BUDAN, Davide LANZAFAME

78: Mark BRESCIANO, Simone PERROTTA, Raffaele PALLADINO, Giuseppe MASCARA, Stevan JOVETIC, Rodrigo PALACIO, Simone TIRIBOCCHI, Joaquin LARRIVEY, Alessandro MATRI, Pablo GRANOCHE, Abdel Kader GHEZZAL, Antonio FLORO FLORES

78 would be perfect (maybe lowering pastore's shot accuracy...)

I honestly can't agree to that....he can be a 77 maybe, but im not looking at the ladders.....he can't be compared still to Ghezzal,Matri or Tiribocchi or Flores....he just miss by far his shots. he is way wasteful.

This is madness. Tecnique at least 85, same for Agility and Dribble Accuracy. You must've seen almost nothing of what he's done these years in Italy and he's litterally dragging the Uruguay with goals and assists at the mundial. You have to revaluate him.

You have to revaluate him.

I believe this is an insult to Jason a.k.a. jmg721, who wrote all those words in first post...

What goals? He hasn't even scored once yet at the World Cup.

If there's a player dragging Uruguay, it's Diego Forlán.

It's been a while since someone has gotten my wrath. And you my friend are the winner. Are you KIDDING me! Have YOU ever seen this player play in Italy. I've seen over 40 Palermo matches in the last two years taking very close notes. Resulting in the set of stats that you have above. If you want to know my thoughts read the carefully written description, or look at the discussion on my Evo-Web thread. I must say, I can't comment too much on players doing well in the world cup that I haven't seen much. But there probably isn't a player I am more familiar with than Edinson Cavani. I'd go as far as saying there aren't many people in the world that have paid closer attention to him than me.

If you want to have a real discussion on his attributes...let's do that. But to suggest 85 for Tech, Agility & DA just makes you look like you have no clue what you are talking about. Just look at the curren't ladder and see how moronic that looks.

Hope I made you proud with that one Ron
