If there's a player on the world who could perfectly describe the card "Goal Poacher", here's he. Leandro Damião is a really physical striker, with huge presence on the box. As a tall and heavy player, any ball throwed at him in the box is a danger and almost a nightmare for the defenders.

May not be a disappointment with the ball on the feets, but he really prefers to avoid technical duels and goes for the physical one's: and this he does really well. He's fast, strong and big, what means he's really hard to knock down. It's most common to see the opposite: he shocks his body against the defenders and put them on the ground, like a guy playing bowling and doing "strikes". Though he isn't a wholeness when it comes to conducting the ball and dribbling, he does not mistreat the ball: he has, in general, a decent first touch, and is able to perform some tricks ocasionaly (he performed with perfection a rainbow flick). But this is something really seldom, as he's not likely to leave the box, much for the other hand: he stays almost all the match inside the box, waiting for crosses and passes to anticipate or finalize. As a pure poacher, he also shows an amazing leap for a guy of his size, combined with a mortal heading ability. His jump/header is comparable/similar to Alan Kardec.

I would modify only those...

Defence: 38>>>>>>>>>32
Shot Power: 79>>>>>>>>>81
Jump: 79>>>>>>81
Aggression: 81>>>>>83

Good stats!!

His Jump should be higher, his leap should be rated higher than Alecsandro and close to Pato. I would say even 82 for JMP. Same for AGG: wouldn't put at 83 yet, but we can use a small boost. 82 would be my number.

At last, I agree with renatomm suggestions about shooting: his SA can be even 2 points less, and ST can be decresed by one point.

For now, a reasonable update would be IMO:

Defence: 38 > 32
Shot Accuracy: 80 > 78
Shot Power: 79 > 80
Shot Technique: 82 > 81
Jump: 79 > 82
Aggression: 81 > 82

I do think he's also faster and quicker, he's not slower than JONAS (TS 82/ACC 83). For now, I would rate his TS/ACC ratio at 83/83~84, but I feel it can be even higher.

Remember the goal he did in the Libertadores final? Incredible speed!

ACC >>>>84
Jump >>> 82 8-)

Agree!

Just look here:

I simply hate to rate speed stats :? . But, basing on the vid, he seems to have both TS/ACC quite similar. I would like to see more opinions on his speed.

P.S.: In comparison with Mario Gomez (189, 84/TS 85, ACC 84), Lucas Barrios (187, 83/TS 83, ACC 84), Grafite (189, 88/TS 83, ACC 83), he's easily bordering a 83~84 on TS and ACC 84.

looking he goals in youtube he tries more accuracy than strong shots but 81 i agree,is not strong and not weak, about the speed i just remember the goal of libertadores, but pedala said and he have previlegious in his team..about the jump i see in video he don't have a good impulsion ,his goals of heading is more of sense of good positionament..edit now i see his last goal , he show a good impulsion,in video he don't jump like that..

He's much better than this, honestly... Let's see how he does on the next games. He probably will be on first team now. He's also the meaning of "Goal Poacher".

With the actual stats, he already IS a more physical striker than Alecsandro. Go to Alecsandro set and check his stats. Anyways, I agree with your statement.

Wouldn't mind raising his SP to 81, honestly. He would be on pair with Robinho, what wouldn't make him a spectacular middle shotter.

He's playing very well on this season! I think he deserves a upgrade in Attack and Jump, at least... his positioning and heading are really impressing me!

I still like my set. Maybe I'd drop his technique by one point and increase AGI, MEN and TW. Add to this, * Post Player. He does a lot this job, as does Andy Carroll, for instance.

He may not be a quite technical player, but he's really agile for a guy of his size. He twists his body around really well, and mostly of his dribbles are changing the direction of the ball quickly instead of carrying the ball close.

EDIT: Updated my set.

Scored a hat-trick against Ypiranga. A trully candidate for *Positioning on the future.

From what I see in his performances of his time ball and jump are great, I suggest no hype, JUMP = 86 and ADD: POSITIONING 8-)
