- If there's a player on the world who could perfectly describe the card "Goal Poacher", here's he. Leandro Damião is a really physical striker, with huge presence on the box. As a tall and heavy player, any ball throwed at him in the box is a danger and almost a nightmare for the defenders.
May not be a disappointment with the ball on the feets, but he really prefers to avoid technical duels and goes for the physical one's: and this he does really well. He's fast, strong and big, what means he's really hard to knock down. It's most common to see the opposite: he shocks his body against the defenders and put them on the ground, like a guy playing bowling and doing "strikes". Though he isn't a wholeness when it comes to conducting the ball and dribbling, he does not mistreat the ball: he has, in general, a decent first touch, and is able to perform some tricks ocasionaly (he performed with perfection a rainbow flick). But this is something really seldom, as he's not likely to leave the box, much for the other hand: he stays almost all the match inside the box, waiting for crosses and passes to anticipate or finalize. As a pure poacher, he also shows an amazing leap for a guy of his size, combined with a mortal heading ability. His jump/header is comparable/similar to Alan Kardec.
