Global update; the set was really too bad. He plays some games with the first team this year when Cissokho is injured. He became better and better. He is still weak in defensive action but in the good way to increase his level.

Updated, I don't understand why Lyon let him moved to take Monzon. Kolo is far better. He's long passes are amazing, can deliver beautiful early cross from deep witn insane accuracy.

Even at Sevilla he has played almost every time as a CB : http://www.whoscored.com/Players/44417/ ... odziejczak so CB should be added and also DEF should go up ;)

Sevilla CB's can get wide and up the pitch on the flanks compared to some other teams, but even when Kolo does this, does he go up as much as Chiellini? I am asking for a second opinion on Aggression (...might be pointless cuz of my esoteric taste in particular teams haha)..I realize the stats are a bit of a left over probably from his days as a SB, well for better or worse he is a default centre half now, ahead of other proven CBs (i.e. Fazio)...I don't think he as good at LPA 84, maybe he was an excellent crosser, but balls over the top from deep, I see Tremoulinas better at this.

Def 73 on showcase tonight vs Madrid :P, along with poor communication (not the first occasion to display this - I 've seen mix-ups with Sergio Rico as to who should claim balls into the box on a few occasions this season).

He's not exactly what Gladbach needed in short/mid term in defence. He's certainly faster that the rest of their CBs, but tactically speaking he's messy. Gladbach made a similar experiment having Hinteregger on loan last season, and it didn't work out well given the unfit condition he previously had and his anarchic style of play.

Maybe Kolod will improve over time, but it is really hard to imagine him boosting his level drastically (in the current season, at least).
