Florin Gardos can be considered one of the shooting stars in the romanian league due to his impressive debut in the Steaua shirt. He's a very tall and yet fairly pacy and technical player who is being compared to the greats such as Belodedici or Popescu due to his composure on the ball. Something he definately needs to work on though is using his physique as he isn't as dominating as you'd expect it from a 1,93 boy and he generally makes alot of mistakes especially in the CB position because of his lack of experience.

People originally compared him to Goian (myself included) before actually paying attention to this guy. I personally consider him more similar to Tamas physically as Gardos is alot more mobile and faster than your average 1,94 player. He suits the modern profile of a top talent but needs alot more experience in order to succeed. His positioning and TW aren't up to par yet but that's because its his debut season in Liga1. Despite this he was called up for the NT already.

he could very well become a top player... his passing is stil a bit erratic but he's having his 1st season in Romania's highest league and I'm sure he'll improve there. His elegance in possession implies that he surely knows how to treat a ball but he's a bit too hectic and unexperienced to provide quality passes.

In the last match he tried and succeded very accurate long pases and he used very often the slide tackle to get the ball.

yeah but his positioning is still woeful at that level... he's a natural talent but not very educated it seems... he reminds me a bit of Toure
