Isn't him a PK specialist?
About 1/3 of his goals for The Saints have been from the penalty spot, with a flawless record.

Rickie Lambert is football league player of the year!
I think little update is needed

WFA: 6
WFF: 5
Some of his goals are scored by weak foot

★ Positioning
★ Scoring
★ Middle shooting
★ Penalty
★ 1-touch pass
Rickie scorers a lot of goals by penalty and from long distance, also he has 14 assists of the season

what about it?

and may be need to increase his jumping and shooting?

SPA: 75
SPS: 78
SA: 81
SP: 87
ST: 82
Jump: 80

Sorry. I try to explain my ideas with bad English:)

Watched the game against MU and took some notes.

Obviously you can't miss that this guy is a beast in terms of strength. He physically dominated Ferdinand, and Vidic had some real problems with him, at the very least they are about equal in terms of BAL. I won't suggest an upgrade but it would be nice if others could keep an eye on him and how he handles other renowned defenders.

The other thing you can't miss is his incredible aerial ability. The team looks to get the ball up to him quickly in the air though they can play a decent possession game too.

We should probably be keeping an eye on his ATK and he looks to be a better passer than the current stats suggest, maybe Vodoved's suggestions would work but I am not sure yet. The WFA and WFF suggestions above seem like they would work.

Cale, you out there with any suggestions?

tbh, i think that the current set is quite fine (apart from the weak foot stats). he already has quite good overall stats and almost lethal stats for the Championship and given that he has Condition 7 which would warrant that he's almost always on an "orange" arrow he'd still score a decent amount of goals. i'm just having doubts about how to recreate his passing game...he racked up 14 assists just like you said which is astonishing for a forward such as him. i'd say that bumping TW to low yellows (to ensure that he drops deeper as he does IRL to participate in the build up play) and increasing SPA to a 78/79 with low 70's in SPS (to limit his range) would work nicely. Also like vodoved said, he likes to blast them from distance so []LR would be a more than reasonable addition as well. Oh and i almost forgot, he's an oak, stiff as fuck, i just can't see him being on such a TS value and ACC, AGI might go a tad lower too.

[]Long Ranger is not available for CFs. You even made the same statement in Óscar Cardozo's thread ;) .
Other than that, the suggestions look fair enough for me.

What at striker!! I'm pretty sure he will make the same impact Holt had at Norwich last season.

Rickie Lambert has scored all 31 of the penalties (including shootouts) that he has taken since he joined Southampton in 2009.

Wow.

I think his TS is underrated here, he can run much faster, he even lost Distin few times during the last game by running between two Everton CBs.
He also had a fantastic long range free kick but Howard somehow got his nands to it.

Really superb against Reading. Has developed an incredible understanding with Rodriguez.

Has great vision as a playmaker and it really makes him unique in the EPL for target men along with wonderful passing. Shame he didn't get the chance to show his abilities at the top level before he was 30.

On to the stats-
He has great LPA in his delicate chips over the top. Not much in the way of power or range but pretty damn accurate. Using him on a 82 currently. Interested in hearing some other thoughts?

This is a personal preference thing but I have him on a 2 Attack Awareness to have him act a bit more as a playmaker and not constantly trying to lead the line. On a 2, he will let drop back at times and let teammates overlap him which does not seem to happen on a 3 Attack Awareness and results in a CF going all out forward to score every chance he gets. A 2 seems to give a bit of variety between dropping and going forward.

As for TS, I do think he can run faster than the current value but he doesn't seem to do it very often. Really doesn't seem integral to his game and most of the time he looks quite slow. I'm personally using him on the 75TS that Konami has him on.

Haven't seen much of Southampon, but from what I have seen, everything that the sloth suggested seems pretty fitting to me... Also, just a note, but he played a really nice long ball to Clyne in the first half vs Tottenham (Around min 15-17, dont remember), looking at the sloth suggestion, it seems it is not a rare occurance.

Ah, and his support looked pretty nice, in addition to Att 2, higher Tw could be something to think about.
