Damn you beat me to the punch. Thanks for doing the update :D

If anyone has any more word of his form in Greece please let me know. Last I heard he was doing quite well 8-)

"The Recoba Effect"

p.s. i think Milanistas stats were based on Del Perio's.

lol....no no no. I'm just a big fan. It's probably better than I don't have the capability to inflate his stats ;)

His teamwork should be low 80's. He is the playmaker of Panionios. All Panionios moves go through Estoyanoff and Recoba.

I watched all the games he played for Panionios until his injury a month ago, and made some small changes to the stats, in areas like stamina. I raised it to 76; 72 was underrating him, he can last like 75 mins without problem-bear in mind that he won't be running that much due to his low MEN and att/def ratio. I reduced his TS by 2 to fit him in the ladders, he doesn't like to run full-speed without the ball, he is more comfortable to run with it. Raised SPS because it was relatively low. Dropped SP to 90; his shots aren't more powerful than Laurent Robert's, at least nowadays and dropped curling to 96, Becks and Pirlo curl it more than him. Oh and I raised concistency from 3 to 5, I don't know how inconsistent he was during his last Inter days, but for Panionios you barely see him make mistakes. He is recovering since Christmas, I've read that he will resume training next week.

Thanks for paying attention to him...I really wish I could see him play. Not surprised to hear he got injured. When he was at Torino last season, every televised he was on the bench or injured. The changes you made sound reasonable from my memory of him...

I'm sure this has been previously discussed, but why doesn't he have *Playmaker? I thought most attacks went through him :?

Well, although he usually goes for that final pass, he builds up play through the midfield, so I guess he deserves playmaking*. Recoba is the creative mind of Panionios.

Here i am, a pure Panionios fan.Recoba was unlucky because this is a very bad season of our team after 2 years in a row with european qualification.
After January,Panionios doesn't have a natural Striker and we play only with FW'S.
His passing is still world class.Every time one player makes himself free the ball is in his feet directly and accurate.I think he has 5 goals, including one free kick on a cup match, and 5-6 assists. If we had a normal striker or even scoring FW's hi assists could have been 12 easily...
He isn't that aggressive and many of his shots, although powerfull, aren't so accurate.
As for his speed,he is walkng all the time(personally don't care) but when he has the ball on his feet he is faster than anyone. This is sth i cant explain!!!
If he stays next year, and the team is based on him we'll see great things from him...

PANIONIOS RULES.GENOVA E SOLO BLUCERCHIATA - FORZA SAMP.
GLORY GLORY FOR UNITED!!!

:D Glad to see he is appreciated. I really hope wherever he plays he excells and stays healthy. I personally would like to see him play more. So I'd hope he would come to MLS, Serie A or EPL. But at this point in his career MLS probably makes the most sense.

You mean middle shooting? He doesnt deserve it, since he can put a lot of curve to the ball

Should his stats be changed some now that he has been established in Greece? I think he has been playing more minutes, so I'm thinking he might be better than 76 in stamina now. But I can't recommend anything else.

His ACC is kinda overrated as is his DS. I think 80 in both is better, he surely is not that explosive
And his stamina could be raised to 77-78 but I dont think he deserves more, he can last a match with this value since he doesnt run much
And his LPS seems too high I think he deserves 84-86

So you're saying his Long Passing now relies more on Accuracy than Speed?
