Dionisis Chiotis is a Greek International Goalkeeper who started his career at AEK Athens in 1994 and he stayed there until 2007.
From 1998 until 2000, he had loan spells at Ethnikos Piraeus and Proodeftiki, and when he came back, he became the first-choice Goalkeeper of AEK.
In 2005, he lost his place in the team to Stefano Sorrentino and in the Summer of 2007 he signed for Kerkyra, where he stayed only for one year.
In the Summer of 2008, Dionisis signed for APOEL and he went on to become a legend for the club.
Not only did he won numerous Championships and Cups at APOEL, but he was named Man of the Match in many Champions League games, including a 0-0 draw away at Atletico Madrid in 2009 and he saved two penalties against Lyon in 2012, to send APOEL to the Quarter-Finals of the Champions League.
He shared the Number one Goalkeeper's gloves with Urko Pardo in the 2011-12 Season, and from 2012-13 onwards, he lost his place to Urko Pardo.
However, he still gets a good amount of games each Season, including the Cup Final of 2013-14, and he shows that he can still play at the top level.
