*Note: Due to playing a different role at his club, Meireles only warrants S09 - Covering / ★ Covering when playing for his NT.

But Meireles shoots a lot more than Katso

Peter80000 wrote:I get it, but since it means both power and accuracy in long ranged shots shouldn't it be more used for players who score more often from long range? Or is it more for players who attempt it lots? Petit scored maybe 1 in 15 screamers. Yeah, actually if you look at the stats, katso is a bit more profilific a scorer than Meireles in both club and NT, but I really can't remember a long ranged goal now... Probably there was one or two
I don't know... when I think of someone who really deserves the middle shooting I instantly think of IsaÃas

Who do you mean? Side-Backs?

I agree with it since I was the one to suggest it
Anyways, what's your opinion?

I'd say 89, but that one time he limped through the better part of a match, screaming his lungs out all the while... made me wonder if he might not be deserving of a 90. Hard-working is his middle name, to be sure.

Viriato wrote:Hmmm. Normally I'd say this is the typical case of the unsung hero not getting his due just because he doesn't score goals and does the less glamorous job on the pitch. But you know your stats, mate, and I trust your judgment.

Viriato wrote:Can't believe I overlooked that. Covering, yes, most definitely.
