Come on guys surely he can't be on par with Eduardo or Keane in terms of acc and ts? his on the ball speed is so poor compared to what it once was its pretty sad to see. Yes I know he has his had injury problems in the past 2 years and playing for Newcastle is going to make most players look poor, but he has shown not shown 'good' pace at all. His current stats give him decent enough pace, its not like his ts and acc is geriatric right now.

His high response and attack is going to compensate for his lack of pace. In game he will make great runs to evade his marker, and take up great positions in the box. This is what his current game is all about.

Oh and the comparison with Kuyt? yes he's faster than Kuyt (but imo not that much faster) but his way superior acc will make him appear much faster in game. Off the top of my head there is a 5 point difference in acc, so more than enough to make a difference between the two.

i think he does raise a good point even if it is poorly delivered

i'm almost positive that it used to be high 80's
i think it could easily go up a couple of points but i won't kick up a fuss if it isn't raised

i think with something like this we can keep it as optional for now
i mean this in the sense that if we take it away now, we may end up giving him it back in a few months after he's bagged a load of goals

i think owen has been given a fresh start by joining united, so to speak, and so i think his stats should be treated in the same way

basically i reckon we should all just wait to see how he does

I get what your saying, but he has looked crap in one-on-ones for the past year and has looked the complete opposite of the star recently, also confidence, that can't be right, he has just signed for the biggest club in the world, and been given the number of Cristiano Ronaldo, George Best, David Beckham and Andrei Kanchelskis, surely he should be confident enough.

but I can`t look on the last season. the whole Newcastle team was crap, they wasn´t themselves. I can`t understand how a team with players like Newcastle got last season, go down in the championship.

and as i have said before, i think for the time being it is impossible to make suggestions on him before he gets a run of games
you never know, he could end up getting 10 in the next 15-20 games and then we'd be getting thousands of suggestions to raise certain stats so..
