Barry Bannan: If you've seen Barry Bannan play football then you'll be a Barry Bannan fan. There's no getting away from it Barry is small. He's smaller than the average youth footballer. He's smaller than the average youth footballer by about a foot. He makes up for it in heart; he's got a look about him of a young man who's going to prove the world wrong. He can play a bit too, he passes the ball very well from midfield, and he's dogged when not in possession. He brings enourmous energy to a game, and will run all day. If only he was a foot taller.

Club: Aston Villa
Back from loan at Derby.

Fantastic job on the stats, these look about right to me.

They are decent, but I'd definitely raise balance, when your that small, you need a relatively high balance to keep you up in a strong wind, moreover he can actually put up a fight, considering how tiny he is a 79 wouldn't be unfair.

It would be incredibly unfair to give him 79. Even considering his weight and height.

A slight increase to a 76 wouldn't go a miss though, Paddy. Although I do feel that 79 is rather exorbitant for my liking

To be honest, I have a greater concern about his Jump and Team Work values. I've seen Bannan contest aerial battles and he certainly has a leap greater than a 74, although not to an extent to which he can win those aerial battles (although this is also allied with his lack of strength). I'd have thought that his Jump could sit at a 78 valuation. With his Team Work the current value seems unfair, he has linked up reasonably well with his team-mates in the Aston Villa reserves and I doubt that he'd show such a lack of understanding with the first team. At the same time, his passes link up rather well with his team-mates which is not indicative of a 72 value.

I thought there would be that kind of reaction but honestly try 79 in game, he is actually still pretty weak however he can put up a fight, he still gets mullered by most players, thats what he has in my game anyway and it feels good to me.

I used to have him at 71 in my game but I thought that was unfair. I raised him to 74 a while back and I stand by it. He never challenges physically and whenever he does he's bounced off them.

Done + fixed the format.

His profile on the official site has him at 170/60 (59.93 to be precise), I'll hold back on updating it as it's a massive jump from his current h/w, anyone who knows him a bit better know which seems right?

Alf Ramsey: "I'll be watching you for the first 45 minutes and if you don't work harder I'll pull you off at halftime."
Rodney Marsh: "Crikey Alf, at Manchester City all we get is an orange and a cup of tea."

HE's a good bit smaller than Ronnie. I guess 5'7 would be okay?

Please, don't make me strangle you :P
He's apparently grown a lot lately. He's NOT 178cm, however I don't doubt he's grown to 170.
