This kid really stood out for me. Solid side back with a good head on his shoulders. Seemed to make smart decisions in general, and has the skill to take people on in dribbling or pace. He had some really cheeky 1st touches and dribbles to get control of the ball, or to take it away from the defender. He isn't the best Defender, but is very gritty and smart about his play. He seems to work hard throughout the match.

Here is my input:
Balance: 82 (he really isn't that strong. He throws his body around, but he doesn't body people up well. He was definitely out matched in strength by both Asamoah and Ribery. My suggestion would be 78/79)
Stamina: 84 ( this could be even higher. He plays just about every minute of every match and runs hard the entire time. I suggest 86-88. Especially if you consider that he would never be able to play that much in PES with his aggression)
Acceleration: 81 (I'll keep an eye on this...could be more quick than that)
Response: 80 (this is a good value. I can see it being higher the more he shows this quality. But he is fairly inexperienced still)
Dribble Accuracy: 78 (I thought he dribbling skills were excellent. He literally was taking people on and splitting defenders. Do I think he is consistently that quality...no. But I feel an 80 would not be out of line)
Technique: 79 (keeping an eye on this one also. He did some really cheeky thinks with the ball. He was winning balls back with style and made it look easy 8-) )
Mentality: 82 (I think this could go up substantially. He works very hard, and you can't tell the difference in his effort from min 1 to 90. He covers a lot of ground on, and is a "gritty" player)
*Covering (he has a low defense value, but does a good job of helping out, and covering across the backline.)
*Tact Dribbling (not yet, but let's keep an eye on this ;) )

I disagree with the raise to his Stamina, Beck often seems to be ready to drop dead at the end of matches. He is a young fullback that flies forward at every chance, he has been improving with the season gradually, but he still has not for me showcased a good ability to retain his energy levels properly. The mentality has been increased, to Ibertsbergers level who I think should be above Beck in this respect, but in anycase with the greater Mentality he will plug away even if his Stamina is depleted, like he really does. I think that Stamina should be 84, as even though Ibertsberger is more conservative (I might say more tactically astute) he is far better at finishing matches then Beck, and if Beck is worth 86 then Ibertsberger could really be at 87-88.

You have a better grasp of this team than i do...but I really feel that with his aggression he would gas quickly in the game. The fact is, he gets tired, but lasts the full match. At an 86 it will still be impossible to play him every game every min. But I think SB are underrated in general on this site, because PES is really bad with draining them too fast.

Ibertsberg doesn't run around nearly as much though? I don't know....I trust your opinions though

Some suggestions after seeing him for German NT recently.

Stamina: 86-87 He attacks constantly and doesn't seem to really tire much.

Acceleration:83-84 He is quick, especially his first few steps.

Agility: He is quite maneuverable and adept at turning quickly. I think 82-83 is accurate.

Response: 78, he isn't great defensively and doesn't seem to read the game as well as 80 would suggest. 80 is ok but not sure he deserves it yet.

Dribble Acc: He has pretty good skills on the ball, I think 80-81 is more realistic.

Aggression: He really does attack quite a bit. Not as much as Lahm but close. I would suggest 82-84. He is nowhere near as effective as Lahm is but still he does get forward a ton.

Not sure he deserves a covering star but a dribbling star would not be out of line.

I'm just missing 2 values and I can give you a whole new set of stats.

Your suggestions seem to agree with my stats more or less, ballack13.

based on my previous suggestions....and having not seen him since. I'd have to ask to consider a higher Ment & possibly *Covering.

Thoughts on why not? Otherwise they all seemed in line with my impression of him.

I can post some explanations later, now I'm watching Sovetov vs. CSKA. ;)
I've discussed Beck with Red few days ago and I think it is a good update of stats.
But I can say not to raise his Ment&TW and add *Covering, you will see it in the explanations.

Looks pretty good though I dont think he is that bad of a defender at 64, that's quite harsh.

Maybe 66?

Also technique could be 80 or so. He seems to have a good touch.

Also a dribbling star might be appropriate.

I don't see him in the yellow area in Technique, yet.
He has decent abilities at the moment, but for me can learn more there.
First, I also had him at 80, but after comparing with other Side Back it was too high in my eyes. ;)
I think 78 would be good enough, if he hold that level next season, then I'd give 80 in Technique.

.... i think he got a good first touch (good but not impressive) and is able to handle the Ball immediately.
Changed it to 79

Attack: -1, Defense is ok with 65. He's playing quite well in both ATT/DEF but still has to learn a lot (he will as he is a very intelligent young man). These days he can compensate wrong positioning with physical abilities. After the next season I predict a DEF in the 70s ;). He's our hope on the right side for South Africa...

Technique: IMO a bit too high, maybe -1. Not bad but still has to improve. 79 is too close to e.g. Dédé's 80.

Why INJURY B? Didn't he have only one little injury in his (young) career?

If you say ATT -1 and Tech -1 you still agree with my stats. :P

This season is his first full played season and then you'll give him Injury Tolerance A?
If he won't miss any games next season as a result of an injury, then I would give him A. ;)

Ah, did not know that you are handling the injury estimation like this... ;)

I meant ATT=73, TECH=78. I played 2 games with Germany and think he is due to the combination of rather high agility and dribbling values as well maybe a bit too good in dribblings in PES... But it's still ok, he will improve next months anyway ;)

In my set of stats there he has Att 73 and Tech 78. ;)
First post is a mix of my and callekleins.
Think with 78 in Technique his qualities in dribbling are reflected very well.
