My first post, so tell me if he is overrated.

thats a great idea, i wasnt aware that anyone was making him, but if we combine our stats it will make him more accurate.

i'd say his top speed should be greater than hi accelaration by 2 points maybe. i don't think he deserves that 90 for technique either. good touvh on the ball but nothing classic imo. brian's greates weapon was shurely is dribling speed and coldness in front of goal. he wasn't a traditional box man, the reason why i would also take away scoring. as for middle shooting i'm not really shure...

no, i'd probably go for:
top speed: 91
acc: 89
dribble speed: 97
btw, technique: 87
teamwork: 78 (laudrup was known for his quick runs ending with ball in the net, that was is own way of helping the team, but not such a teamplayer. i think team work is generally overated here, wich i already took in acount. with 78 he would be on pair with cr7 and aguero, and above robben)

the stats are very much alike, with zingos' perhaps a bit underrated and brondby's a bit overrated, but a 15 point difference in LPA? how are you gonna agree on that one?

i have to say that comparing with today's players in the other foruns, i'd go with zingo's stats, but being that the classic stats are generally overrated maybe something closer to brondby's would fit better ladderwise

if i had to choose 1 i'd go for zingo's but i would have to raise his long pass to low 80's an dcrease BB just a little. then it would be perfect apart from WFA/WFF wich i'd choose 6/6

The first, and above all, long pass accuracy I think.

He had a nice long pass, he did it with itention and precision. That led him to make a lot of assists.

Now we could talk about dribbling and teamwork:

Dribbling, opposing a lot of general opinion, Laudrup dribble wasn't only about pace. Nothing at all, he had a precise and full of intention dribble, only prefering the speed option when he had room for it and he could use his immense speed associtated with dribble controlo. Alas, he wouldn't be able to run so fast with the ball if he didn't possess that extra skill at trapping the ball (pure technique).
I suggest "closing" more the dribble stats, avoiding the gap between the speed and the accuracy of the dribble as he was, I would say, 45/55% of the dribble in 45=DA and 55=DS.

Teamwork, you would see he was a fantastic team player for a winger. He passed the ball with easy flair (being that short or long played) and he has, what he use to say, a good "game vision". This would be enough to claim some more points in this parameter, in my opinion.

Stop! No way, DA 93 no please. Stats were fine except for LPA, the true reason why he had so many assists were his runs into the flanks were he only had that option most times. It's scotish football for god's sake, go to the line and just cross it. Larson has loads of assists and he hasn't got these passing stats. Ronaldo or Quaresma are good crossers, Simão is much better than Laudrup ever was and they all have lower values. Bot to mention all these 3 are good driblers, 93 DA puts him at the level of Cristiano...

I rate Laudrup better than Simão in terms of dribbling while Simão has better teamwork and short passing (long passing, Laudrup is better in accuracy but never in speed since he liked to "prepare" the cross while Simão was pretty fast on doing this).
Laudrup was really flawless while attempting the short dribble, even if he did use the pace dribble quite often, and this is why you would see Laudrup dribbling past a bunch of opponents once in a while, maradona style, as he had plenty of options in terms of style of dribbling.

I don't remeber how it was, but 90 seems fair to me (if it was over 90 and I asked for more I shut my mouth and don't argue more about it).

Interesting, to me is more like:

Honestly, and from my vast experience of playing with laudrup in pes 6 with default stats , his long pass skills shouldn't go over 84 for accuracy, it's so easy to win the line with him, and with his speed u can relax and have a cofee before u make the cross. And if u play him as a CF and ur good at counters, he's a goal machine.
Was regulary the man with most assists + goals in the team, and he managed to be cup top scorer a few times, even if i didn't play him as CF much (i played him as a right winger usually, that's why he had so many assists).

Small detail but may I ask his Registered Position to be support striker? He definitely wasn't an out-and-out centre forward but could be deployed there whenever his managers felt the need to make use of his extraordinary ability in the very last end of the pitch. Otherwise, he was usually a support striker who would drift out wide, hence also the *WG.
