Agree with the attack 83, I can't understand player like VdV, Robben, Mancini, Lampard, Gerrard... players "who plays close to the box equal than Messi", they score so many goals, ok, if Messi is not a goaler... the last season, the decadence of Rijkaard's project in 40 matches of Copa del Rey, La Liga and Champions, 16 goals; this season 19 matches, 16 goals... the numbers talk clear the attack must be raised yes or yes.
The passing stats... the pes_hhc suggestions for me are so much, but SPA can be raised in 1 point, not more.
The agility it's fine in the 97, a great part of us don't see Garrincha or Matthews but the historiy puts them there, a 99 it's only reserved for historic players in my opinion.

When VdV, Gerrard or Lampard scores goals with his positioning or poaches a goal... Messi has scoring so many goals inside the box, he plays closer to the area than ever, ok his runs starts into the midfield and he recovers more balls than ever too,

Well with this definition his attack need to be raised a lot, but, ok we haven't to increase a lot his attack comparing with other players, but man, i don't wanna pass over anyone, but I think it's soooo clear we need to raise his attack, at least in my OF it's raised.
But you have to see that from a neutral point, not from white point...

IMO he goals inside the box are thanked to his response, but not showing a great positioning. Gerrard and VDV has better positioning inside and outside the box while attacking (dunno about lampard, haven't seen him lastly). Kaka who is much better than messi about positioning is 84...

Here go my opinion there. I know what you will think but well.

I think that Messi improved a lot since the last year. He changed his style to play. Now he plays more using tactical and teamwork. If you saw the lasts 20 matches for example, he didn't try to dribble that too much like some ages ago. He made perfect passes, he improved in his shot and yes, he tries to cut into the centre and shot but only in a few ocasions.
He improved a lot his tacticals qualities. For example the lasts goals are thanks that he evade the mark of the defender. I don't think that he deserves a high attack, imposible for now, probably in the future yes (if he continues improving all), only a 82. Some players use positioning and balance in attack. He uses the evading of the mark more his speed. Is why Guardiola placed him like false CF in CL match.

I'm not sure if I explained what I think well.

Well that's true, agree with 82.

I also want to comment what i showed yesterday. I payed attention to messi TS, and he NEVER get passed ramos by speed, he made good dribbles and found spaces to pass or make dangerous shots, and and also ramos could't steal him the ball, but he never passed get passed by messi. I think this is the perfect example to show that messi TS at 88 is overrated.

I'm pretty sure his TS needs to be 87. He really isn't a fast player, what make him looks like that fast is his annormal Agility combined with his Acceleration. Anyways, with 87 he will be really fast, actually.

If you talk about my explanation and comparation with sergio ramos, NO, i use to see every match of barcelona, and i said that 88 was overrating since it was suggested in the old forum.

Maradona and co. are players of the past and I understand why would someone want to see Messi as a undisputed king of agility (because he indeed is!) but I still don't think he needs to be 2-3 points above rest of the world..

I think there probably are some player just as agile (probably some short African guys:P) as Messi but they surely dont have the same on-the-ball skills as Messi.
