Bio by Paddy:
The 18 year old, now Palermo strikers, started his career with Pescara in Serie B. Due to some regulations he could not play a game in Serie B, the year after he played his first regular season game for Pescara in Serie C1/A at age 18. Half of season later teams like Inter, Sampdoria, Palermo, and Manchester City all came knocking for the next “Christian Vieri”, but it was Palermo was able to secure his signature at the last minutes of the transfer deadline.

Edgar Cani is considered by a lot of Italian journalists to be the next powerful striker in Italian football. He is closely compared to Christian Vieri, and thats why Inter put a 2 million dollar bid for him, but was not able to sign the player. During the week before signing for Palermo, Edgar was called by the Albanian U21 team, but he declined to offer, saying that he was too busy with his transfer and could not get focused enough to play for the U21 team. A few days later, reports came that he had accepted an offer to play for the Italian U19 team.

In an interview for an Albanian website, he declared that he wants to play for the Albanian National Team, but he just couldn’t at the moment.

Albanians have seen this before, and they are just hoping that Edgar will make the right decision and play for the “Kuq e Zi” (Red and Black, Albania). Other players like Valon Behrami(Lazio, Switzerland), Sotir Nini(AEK, Greece, known as Sotiris Ninis now), have declined the Albanian National Team, and played for their adopted countries.

Will Edgar Cani make the same decision, or will he follow Marseille’s Captain, Lorik Cana, and play for his home country? Only time will tell, lets just hope hes not another Jonathan De Guzman!

RES 82? I highly doubt that. The others seems reasonable.

These stats really don't represent him well imo.

Seems very overrated. an example: I really doubt his attack is on par on an experienced striker as Succi, or better than a promising striker like Marilungo who already scored some goal in Serie A

Can you capitalise his last name Jason? ;)

Some suggestions:

Attack: 78
Top Speed: 80
Acceleration: 79
Response: 77
Short Pass Accuracy: 71
Short Pass Speed: 72
Long Pass Accuracy: 70
Long Pass Speed: 72
Header: 80
Jump: 77
Technique: 78
Aggression: 81
Mentality: 74
Team Work Ability: 74

i think he needs a little update. Imo he is too high rated and we have to wait to see him in Serie A.

ACC and TS is much to high. With this height and weight... he should be around 76-77

No buszmen, your suggestion is very bad. From this it follows that cripple Grzelczak is faster than him
Watch second Cani goal, he has good acceleration, overtake a defender and scored.
TS: 80
ACC: No change

If you check TS ranking of CF in EK you will see similar weight and height strikers around 77.
You give bad example of speed. Coz.. in this action he was... late ;). He should be close to goalkeeper not close to penalty arena .

You look only at the rankings?
Attentively watch the match and see how he plays..
