In line with the recent SA updates for CB's I definitely agree to those shooting suggestions although I wouldn't be averse to see him on 71, one above A. Cole (maybe he's just over-rated slightly?). He's certainly improved his shooting this season probably due to the fact that he's not afraid to join in attacks which leads me to his Aggression. 82 just looks a tad too low to my eyes, maybe an 84 would suit him better?

I'm surprised that Vandeach hasn't posted his excellent update for Glen Johnson on here, he did a lovely comparison between him and Rafael :?

They aren't neccesarilly meant to be used for this site, because I experimented a bit with values that don't neccesarilly fit the ladders and such, but what the hell, I'll post them.

Name: Glen Johnson

Image

Club: Portsmouth
Number: 5
Position: *SB
Nationality: English
Age: 24(23/08/1984)

Foot: R
Side: R

Height: 178cm

Attack: 73
Defence: 72
Balance: 77
Stamina: 87
Top Speed: 85
Acceleration: 86
Response: 83
Agility: 84
Dribble Accuracy: 76
Dribble Speed: 85
Short Pass Accuracy: 75
Short Pass Speed: 71
Long Pass Accuracy: 79
Long Pass Speed: 82
Shot Accuracy: 67
Shot Power: 82

Free Kick Accuracy: 67
Swerve: 72

Injury Tolerance: B
Condition/Fitness: 7
Weak Foot Accuracy: 5
Weak Foot frequency: 5
Consistency: 6

SPECIAL ABILITIES:
*Dribbling
*Reaction

Probably England's best all round right-back at the moment and a great performer in a rather mediocre season for Portsmouth along with fellow full-back Nadir Belhadj. Johnson is a product of West Ham United's youth academy and a bargain buy by Redknapp at only £4,000,000 and probably the best right-back in the league after Bacary Sagna and Jose Bosingwa. Glen Johnson, whom has 13 England caps may well look for a move away in the summer after being named in the PFA team of the year.

And personally I see that as being a very reasonable update, although I'd rate him higher in Balance and Team Work.

Balance your probably right on, however looking at some of the values for SMF's and their height and weight I didn't think it needed to be too high, 79 maybe? I don't tend to rate SB's with high values for team-work I mean I tried giving Aurelio, whom is very good at team moves an 85 value and he started acting like a playmaker, so that is usually the most I go. Glen Johnson can also be selfish at times, what value do you have him at?

You shouldn't really raise his attack anymore, if you did that would put him in the region of Dani Alves and Phillip Lahm. I can't see why you'd want to raise dribbling, yes he can do some nice dribbles but he just 'punts and runs', the *Dribbling star will make him dribble more anyway. He doesn't need his pace up any more either. Compare him to other players in our ladders and make suggestions based on that mate ;).

Your being biased mate :P. His attacking intelligence isn't up to the same sort of standard of Daniel Alves, he is well ahead of most full-backs in tat respect. I don't think you've watched Alves enough, otherwise you'd see how intelligent he really is in attacking areas. Don't post a whole set of stats, just post suggestions based on the ladders.

Well he does tend to use his weak foot quite a bit, but in terms of accuracy i think the stats are spot on at the moment.

PS. I don't get many BIG tips in my life, but i believe him moving to Liverpool is a done deal. I've only ever got 4 BIG tips like this in the past. 1 was Robbie Keane, another was Torres, another was Simao, although that fell through.
