Takayuki Morimoto

Postby Ajacied_Breda1 » 2008 Dec 09, 12:41

Takayuki Miromoto, a known name throughout Japan for being the youngest ever player in the J-league and scorer with 15 years of age. Taka had a wonderfull debut in Japan, playing quit exciting there and called the Japanese Ronaldo due to being a very pacey player for his age. He also has quite good dribbling skills. And he scores regularly.

Last season, Taka was loaned out to Catania for 1 year and scored during his debut for the Elephants. He in total made 5 appearances that season, being subbed in the last 10 minutes. However due to a ruptured ligament, he was out for the second half of the 2006-2007 season. (Beginning to look like a real Ronaldo story ) Catania saw a lot of talent in Taka though and decided to sign him this summer after he recovered properly and had some medicals at the club.

Buon compleanno, il pibe d'oro.

He already has*reaction and *lines, that is what he showed in the goal he scored, maybe one or two more point in ACC can be considered...In the shooting department I would wait for a few more goal to be scored from this funny Japanese...

I've watched the highlights and i more or less agree with what you said... the goals were a matter of the stars (i would remove the optional thing) and he seems a bit faster to start off, i'd propose an ACC 85... and he also was in the game a lot from the beginning, i'm surprised at how much accurate this stats are even though he didn't play really much :D (i'm referring to the high AGG mostly). I'd raise STA some points though, he seemed to run a lot... like a 78-79

Interesting match(vs Roma)...he might be faster. He had a great match just can't finish. He got 2 goals, but culd have had 3 more...seriously. His Res or Position was off the charts in that game, beating the Roma def consistently. These were his 1st 2 goals of season.

It's hard to suggest any higher values because he is so young and hasn't performed this well consistenly.

Defence: 37
Mentality: 74
I'm thinking if we lower his defense even more and raise his mentality he might play a bit more like himself. He is a pretty hardworking player(as are most Catania players), but he doesn't do it by tracking back far. He is consistently running sideline to sideline infront and behind the defenders.

*Reaction
*Lines
Attack: 79
Response: 79
Aggression: 84
For his inexperience to have these two stars says something. His timings of his runs are great. He gets himself in a lot of really good scoring positions, but lacks the necessary finish. If we raise attack, he will be too successful of a poacher. If we raise response he will have elite response for a 20 yr old who doesn't score a lot of goals, but times runs well. If we raise Agg he will likely be running offsides a lot with his low response(for a starting CF)... :?

Def: 32
Bal: 76/77
Sta: 79
Res: 80
Acc: 85
Ment: 78
Agg: 86

Looking at the ladder, I am thinking an 81 Agility would be in order

astounding today against Roma, full of running. no wonder his finish was poor :D I'd be interested to learn how many miles he clocked in at today.

Zenga rotates captains!! it change each time, the coach take this decision before every match.....;)
then...he could have been captain one,two times i think.
