Spoiler: show
Attack:
I do not think he has changed massively as a player in terms of natural ability, I think he has always had it. But as Fergie has admitted, he has simply been played out of position too often in the past. He is no longer the support striker, he is now the spearhead of the attack. A raise in attack and a new registered position was thus a must. Because he is playing further up the pitch he now has the license to showcase his fantastic attacking intelligence which in previous seasons he has not been able to show on a regular basis. He is showing a great awareness of space and the ability to loose his marker with ease this year. His runs in and around the box are surprisingly impressive. Little darts here and there before veering off in the other direction to create space for himself. Easily on par with Berbatov and more intelligent in his movement than Tevez although not at the level of those on 86, yet.

Stamina/Mentality:
I don't really see him attacking that much more aggresively, I simply see him tracking back a lot less. This means he can conserve his energy for attacking, which in itself makes him a far more dangerous proposition going forward. A slight drop in mentality represents this. He is still a workhorse none the less, but I don't see him as anything more than the all action Park Ji Sung nowadays.

Response:
On top of his newfound ability to find space in the area, I've given him a slight increase in his response. He has always reacted well to loose balls however he is now showing this in the penalty area and has developed a poacher-esque instinct.

Passing:
His passing has seen some much needed tweaks. SPA has been raised to 81, a change which has been on the cards for some time. His long passing has been altered also. He isn't as accurate as the 84 sugessted. This figure made him too dangerous from crossing positions, although as we know he can still ping some delightful crossfield balls which is why he has had a boost in his long pass speed.

Shooting:
Shooting is much the same however a decrease in shot power and shot technique was again on the cards anyway. He rarely blasts them from range anymore and tends to bend them with his instep more often than not. This is not to say he doesn't hit them hard, but an 89 puts him on par with players who blast them from range more regularly than Wayne. I think nowadays it would be unfair for him to keep such a value given the style in which Wazza takes his shots, not to mention the fact that he gets all of his goals inside the box. A raise in his curling contributes to this also. He really can get some vicious dip and swerve in his shots. Shot accuracy also comes up by one to an 83.

Heading:
Heading is obviously the stat that sees the biggest increase and a much deserved one at that. His placement is by no means world class, however it is definitly up there. To anyone who would like to suggest a greater jump, I'd reply by saying that his actual heading ability is superior. Yes, he has a decent leap, but that's all it is, decent. He hasn't really got up above defenders to head home, he finds space in the box and is generally unmarked when he makes his connection. On the couple of occasions where he has won ariel battles, it has been his strength and heading ability that has gotten him the goal.

Special Abilities:
As already stated, a lot of his goals have come from great positioning in the box when connecting with crosses and so I think the positioning star is a must. Scoring I think goes without saying. I have also added the Penalties star. He has shown that he has great composure from the spot and finds the bottom corner with precision and power on a regular basis.

I could agree with that. I like the contrast between TS and DS with him. He loses all his pace when he gets on the ball. Also *Penalties.

yap , that was the case last game when he and gerrard ran that counter-attack , he outran everyone but a decent margin , but when he received the ball he lost all speed and didn't controlled it well enough , so defender caught him up . Vinnie what do you think about his shooting stats ?

I agree with ts update, the amount of times he's back defending and then we counter attack and he's in the box, he is very fast once he gets going

I think it needs to be updated because at the end he played a lot better. Below is what I think taht need to be changed.
Agility: 80 change to 84 because with 80 he cannot control the ball well like he does..
Dribble Accuracy: 83 change to 88 because he didnt lose the ball that easy.
Shot Accuracy: 84 change to 90 because even he didnt do a great job on long shot like a past but with 84 sometimes his shot goes wide or can be saved easily. with his style of playing now shot accuracy is very important to make he score 27 goals in EPL this season. Every time he had a chance he can change it to be goal.
Free Kick Accuracy: 79 changed to 83. remember that he could score from free kick. 79 will be very hard to make a goal from free kick.
Aggression: 85 to 90+ because he is one of the most aggresive players in the world.
Mentality: 85 changed to 88 he plays very clever.

Condition/Fitness: 5 to 8 he can play twice a week.
Weak Foot Accuracy: 6
Weak Foot Frequency: 5

SPECIAL ABILITIES:
should add penalty.

Well I'm new here, so hi :). I'm starting my first post with Wayne. I absolutely love him, but to determine the stats I need to be realistic. To be honest Wayne has developed a lot in these recent years and his play style has grown more and more into a finisher inside the box.
So based in your current stats my suggestions are:
1. I'd suggest his attack goes to 92 or 93. He has been terrific inside the box in the recent years and his goal scoring record proves that. 91 is good but this is solely based in my opinion and I've never missed a United game in years. Anyway...
2. His DA is a bit high and it's been years since I've seen him dribble around a defender or going head to head. I would suggest 82.
3.I understand the decrease of the Shot Power because he has lost his long ranger eye. But he has still one of the most powerful and accurate shots around so I would suggest an increase to 89(It's a lot I know but it's my opinion).
4.He's been lurking around the box lately and my suggestion to his goal-scoring statistics is a slight increase of SA to 86.
5.Last, I don't have any reason at all but I feel his stamina should be 91 or 90. He's not the same Wayne that would cover the usual 12km every match.

And I wouldn't mind an ATK increase, either.

I really don't understand why he has so low SP.

98% of the time, Wayne Rooney would just curl the ball. So, what's the use of SP 89?

I second the suggestion of a raise in FKA, he needs to go up a few points.

Also what happened to the DS talk? His TS should go up by a point and decrease his DS by a point or two.

TS should go up by a point? and why? clean through at Euro 2012 but gets caught because he has no speed? if anything, his speed should go down. No surprise he can't run, as he is grossly overweight.
