The best striker in the world, because he cut out some of his bullshit (arguing, diving etc.). He was a monster that season. He would score all types of wonder goals from any position and best of all, his mind was in the game. Whether he can retain his fine goalscoring form remains to be seen.

wait, thats supposed to be 2009-10, my bad. it's just a hybrid of konamis values with mr.evans as his set is in old standards.

btw, konami is always at least 2 seasons behind. So for his 2008 season you'd want 2010. But why is 2008 being discussed? That was a mediocore season if I recall correctly. We should be focusing on 2006 and 2009. The first set in the thread is 2006 and the set I posted is for 2009.

Pes 2008 actually reflects 2006-2007 season, as it's released in October/September of 2007, after his best season

Konami almost never update a player based on a seasons performance though. It takes them a very long time to do that, and when they do it's usually two games late, and a lot of the time they go overboard.. then the next season they tone down the set... and then you have a set that represents that season.. years after it happend. Though in this case it looks good. But are you sure thats 2008 stu? He has very worse stats in 2009. And in 2010 he has great stats, looks like they're made for 2006.
edit: nvm that, they are 2008. Seems they toned him down in 2009, then brought him back up in 2010.

Been watching alot of his stuff on youtube, TBH, konamis jump and ST values look totally exaggerated. But I never like to dismiss konami stats because they usually use their stats to create something unique. And I guess their set relaly achives that. I assume the jump value is for his aerial dominance and ability to win duels, rather than how high he can jump. ST can't really be much over 90 though.

Could someone tell me why 32-years-old Drogba height is 189, while 28-years-old one is 188?? It doesn't have any sense..

It's because his build up of dry scalp gave him close to another cm, so the measurement people rounded it up to 189.

Just natural body growth changes and evolution, 2006 was the year he didn't do any crap. After he started diving that started sending signals to his body that he is a girl, a chemical reaction which started reducing his testosterone. Thus, his balls shrunk and didn't weigh him down anymore, and his body slightly decompressed. He grew a cm because his balls shrunk a cm.

If you don't put effort into your post, i won't put effort in my response.

so you are proposing that Didier is an unknown case of sequential hermaphroditism?? i think he wouldn't be glad of hearing that..

Seeing the 2 sets, one questions pops to mind; as he got older, he became a better jumper?

The 2006-2007 needs to be revamped and updated to new standards, that's the problem.
