Marcelo Trobbiani | 1973-1976

Postby PES Stats Database » 2012 Feb 19, 21:42

Club: Boca Juniors

INFO:

Spoiler: show
Besides Maradona, Trobbiani was probably the most gifted player in the 1981 Boca team, unfortunately he didn't play much, stuck down by an hepatitis most of the season. As a player, he had it all: Amazing technique, close ball control, great dribbling skills and speed, but sometimes he could not stand the pressure and was criticized for hogging the ball, to the point that fans called him 'calesita' (merry-go-round)*. He mainly played as an unusual N°5 who not only directed the game from behind but also used his speed and dribbling abilities to run forward everytime he could looking for the unmarked teammate or some goal scoring opportunities. In 1982, he was sold to Estudiantes and took part to their successful era as the team won 2 back-to-back championships ('82 Metropolitano and '83 Nacional) under the management of Carlos Bilardo. At Estudiantes, he was rather used for his offensive abilities, playing as a deep-lying centre forward in charge of making space for the wingers and providing them with good scoaring opportunities thanks to his great passing range.
He played 137 games for Boca and scored 29 goals. He played 15 games for Argentina (scoring once) and was part of the 1986 World Champion squad coached by the same Bilardo.

Good set, I was looking for some time this set, which I found good. I think it should be upgraded to new standards.

Yeah, I see what you mean...in fact he ran but mostly forward  Defending was less something he naturally liked.
This set need a slight update too. It mostly accurate but maybe things like def, sta, sps and lps could be decreased a bit (maybe ment too). And about box to box, yep could be removed...

I'd like to have some suggestions about that if you have any clue... :)

PS: Sorry for answering late, I didn't see your post on this thread before.

Well added to the DB MagicDip's set, also made shorter the era to adapt to his Boca days. Set seems in old standards and with some random numbers, I'll wait to lucashag response to make some tweaks.
