I think TBDs set looks a bit like the good-form Kagawa, the current set displays his average performance better I think. (Though I lately had the impression that he's getting a bit more accurate in his dribblings.)


But I have to underline again that he surely needs the higher stamina and I like the higher def value better. He's just defending so great.

Well, regarding stamina, don't forget that he's often substituted after 75 or 80 minutes of playing time. His performance tends to fade with time.

As for shot power, I honestly prefer the current value, he *can* deliver hard shots as he did against FC Köln, scoring a thunderous volley. It's just that he usually prefers to "place" his shots rather than hitting with full power.

I am open to a small increase in defense.

About DEF I have him in 55 I think it's suitable for him. About STA you right Helios but he moves all over the pitch with his top speed, and with low stamina and Free Roaming card he'll not able to complete a full match.

the point is that Kagawa basically plays three positions in one match. defensively he starts pressing as a striker righthand of Lewandowski, when the opponent comes rather forward he drops deeper into the omf-zone. he looks always to close passing-channels while doing that. offensively he moves a lot in the omf-zone, searches for space on the wings, he makes runs into the box and he drops very deep to support the built-up play. plus he does a lot of fast running and short sprints that he need for his style. 85 is too average for this style in my eyes. he cant be just level with guys like Reus, Podolski, Kroos, Hajnal, Carlos Eduardo...these are solid runners but none of their styles is based on running as much as Kagawa's is.

His SP is low. He often gives noticeable power to his shots (even those low drives).
And speaking of a midfielder; 15 goals in 39 games is a colossal number.

is he really only this good at passing , I've watched Dortmund quite a lot this term and i think he's better passer than green values . Maybe he doesn't show it on regular basis , but from matches I've seen , he is low yellow values for every passing stat

Don`t see him on higher yellows. he doesn`t play this deadly passes - more this fast combination play of Dortmund, with a lot easy short passes who lives by the much speed and the whole offense is involved. and at all he`s on yellow in both accuracy parts

Agree with s-cobar. Btw, i am the only one who thinks that is a bit more agile - i think he is more agile than Götze both have 87. I saw Kagawa 1-2 points above him.

I agree with Kruger view. Also I have to add that he is a very smart player. I think he can have better ATT value to represent that smartness he has showed in the last two years in BVB, specially current season. He is a very incisive player with good positional sense that tries killers passes and have a good reading of the game. I am a new member but I risk myself with a 83-84 ATT and 88-89 for agility. I disagree with higher TS. Kagawa is faster is short distances than long distances. As a regular Bundesliga follower I don't remebered him showed or kept his TS in long distances.

When you look at the meters run in the Bundesliga, Kagawa is among the leaders, I think his stamina should be higher (90-92). In the Champions League qualifying round for instance, he was just behind Bender in meters run for Dortmund, who were among the hardest working teams in that stage of the tournament. He works extremely hard for the team and never stops moving. As an example of the inequity of the current stats, Ribery has higher stamina, but runs less in a match than Kagawa

Also, I think his passing accuracy could be higher, his pass completion rate (mid 80s) and the sheer number of chances he created for Dortmund this season were both quite high. Again, if we compare him to Ribery, kagawa is a more accurate short passer, but is currently rated lower. I would suggest an 83-84.

The final stat I would like to suggest changing is teamwork. Kagawa is a very effective pass and move player, his interplay with teammates is strong, fitting in very well with Dortmund's quick counterattacking movement. I would shift this to 85-86.

Overall, I just think he is a little underrated. He was probably Dortmund's most important attacking player in the second half of the season and they were clearly the best team in the league. More importantly, in the game now, he just will not affect a match in the way he should. Buzzing around, linking up with teammates, and playing strong through passes to teammates.

his attacking and passing skills need to go higher. He was bundesliga player of the year but his stats db doesnt show that.
much better shooting and passing accuracy with the goals and assists he has made. probably increasing 5 points to those attibutes

He was voted as POTY by a website that covers the Bundesliga. United fans picked up on this and thought it was a league awarded title.
