I`ve deleted my old stats thread, cause it was in a phase where I wasn´t close to PES at all and handle other things.
This new stats thread is mostly for GKs. Just to have a genreal update of different, interesting GKs all over the world.

Mostly it`s about the current one, but I`ll also do some classics, cause the histroy of football had some fanatastic GKs.

Why do you post these as proof that hes not been as spectcular as in the past? These just show what I said earlier, 85% of all goals conceded he couldn't have done anything.

VS ROMA

Goal 1: Corner, great header from Juan close to the bottom corner, Cesar was still close to reaching it.

Goal 2: Basically one one one, 5 yards out.

Goal 3: Lol one on one again, 5 yards out very close to getting it.

Goal 4: Great finish, right in the bottom corner.

So there you have 4 goals. One corner, two one on ones, and one perfect finish. How can this show hes not as good?


VS BOLOGNA

GOAL 1: 5 yards out. FLAWLESS finish, inch perfect. Di Viao's still a beast.

GOAl 2: lol one on one again, excellent finish, right in the corner again.

GOAL 3: All defenders to his back, essentially one on one, great finish in the bottom corner.

VS BOSNIA

Shot deflected.

These are all situations where you'd expect to offensive player to score 90% of the time. Keeper would need to pull off super man saves to get any of them.
You can't put any blame on Cesar for any of these, inter leave with an impossible situation and hes left for dead.

I mean just look at this for a classic example of what inter does to cesar.

Samuels mistake leaves the attacker past the defenders, essentially a goal. Cesar still pulls of two amazing saves, nothing he could do for the last, unfortunate parry.

Total, videos are not a good example. You can make any goalie good or bad with videos. it comes in so many little things on goalkeepers. cesar is probably the goalkeeper, I've watched the most, in the last three years. yes he had a really lousy season. But that was the year after the triple. It is difficult for you to motivate you after that big thing and he seemed tired. But he has overcome this phase. Of course, he still makes errors. that is why he has not 99 everywhere, everyone makes errors. It's about consider the whole. as he moves, how he handles the whole situation. I am convinced of its values. jurgens and I took our time. he has so often this season Inter kept in play. saved. I can not mention every single instance. but everyone who has seen Inter in a couple of games, know what I mean. I like how he looks in my ladder. in the balance with the others. I was asked yesterday whether or not I can cech make a point better in ks, but I am against it. cech is higher in defense and because I like the overall balance. when I see how they handle the ball and parry between the post and acting, I think that both should be on a level, with the difference that cech is higher in defense and cesar in response.

Looks good, basically the exact area I have them both. One thing though, valdes's balance should be over casillias... if were using the old defeintion and if were just using the whole strenght in coming out etc... and valdes is deceptivly strong, far more so that casillias

Sets look great, proves that Konami's are not far from reality. Btw seeing their pictures side to side, Casillas can't be 85kg while Valdes is 78, Casillas is more likely around 78.
Also I'm wondering, how Konami rates Header for keepers, since they don't get to use their head ingame. Actually I've seen it happen one or two times in PES12 that the keeper rushes out of the area and clears the ball with a header. But it's so rare I doubt they rate it according to this. The reason I'm wondering is they don't hand all keepers the same value for Header (like they do for outfield players with Keeper Skills), but the values range from 40 to 60. Assign them randomly? Dunno.
And last I still have some doubts on what mentality and teamwork do for keepers and how they relate to their overall positioning, especially in PES12 where aggression is absent. It's reall a pain to test keepers, takes x10 the time compared to outfield players. Next time I see a falling star, I' ll wish for a manual by Konami explaining all this stuff.

about the PC/PS3 version I can`t say anything, cause I use PES 11 and 12 on PS 2 and there is still the aggression value and still the stars. So for me mentality is the same like at field players, stay calm even in a strike against. always continue to fight to prove presence. teamwork is also the point of coordination with the defensive. support the adoption of the ball. be integrated to a total of more. get involved. being a goalkeeper, it mainly deals with the coordination with the defensive.

I use the 55 for a header for the reason if they have to handle the ball out of their box. that`s the biggest point. don´t know why konami rated them differently. I can`t see so much situations where I can see a big difference, so I use mostly a standard value
