When I was making T. SIlva set a did some test in Nesta here some notes:

DEF: 93 (He still know how to position himself, giving him 90 is just going to kill his style of play, I gave 93 1 point behind the one that I have for Samuel in my OP and works well for him, his DEF is almost everything to his game.)
BB: 84 (I dropped 1 point, I don't feel that he is so strong anymore.)
RES: 88~87 (His slide tackles are not so clean like in his peak.)
LPA: 74~maybe even 75 (He know how to make a long pass, most of the times just safes ones but he can make with good accuracy.)
Header: 86 (I dropped 1 point, i just don't remember why i did that.)
TW: 86 (He can spray passes and participate in offensive actions, and still maintain his great vocal abilities.)
AGG: 60 (He goes forward some times.)

Agree. I'd also like to lower his speed stats. He's not really that much faster than Ranocchia. Also consider that Ranocchia's 8 cm's taller. TS @ 76 & ACC [/color=green]77[/color] would be enough imo.

I'm also considering removing Sliding in my OF.

What about Def ? 96 is very good .. Jurgens says : the defender should be raise in detence and Res .. Nesta more experience and he needs and deserves are these .. I waiting Jurgens and Mr.Evans ..

excessive for the most intelligent defender of all time? though the definition used for that values is the same as ATT one, no one is certain if it is globally accepted or not, as there is no global consensus it seems

Well, I am fan of Nesta by being as a Milan fan, but the level of football in Serie A has decreased, so he looks better than he really is now. No doubt, he is fantastic centre-back, but 95 for me at this time.
But, yeah, you both were right a bit, his response should be over 90 in my view.

Okay, now I'm willing to agree with DEF at 96, because 2002-04 classic's DEF was raised to 97 (or I read it wrong at that moment).
RES should be at 90-94, 91 (+2) would be my pick.

I don't think his DEF deserves to be less than it used to be,I still think his positional sense is just as good if not better than it used to be.I was watching him against Barca,I kept an eye on him as much as possible and is positioning and reading of the game is simply perfect and he still above the likes of Samuel and Thiago Silva at this I feel.

He has not put a foot wrong in 2 games against the best side in the world now despite him being in his mid 30's,basically I think his defense should be higher.How much higher? I'm not quite sure,possibly 97.

Evans set feels right. He needs a general downgrade of his physical stats. It's his great positional sense and nice tackling and anticipation skills what still make him a very good defender, but his physique is in absolute decline (as you could expect from a 36 yeared old, on the other hand).

I originally wanted to keep his DEF on a red value but I thought it was only because of my love for Nesta but he proved for me last night that he still is the master of defending. No one compares to him really in terms of intelligence and pure intelligence and that 94 puts him too close to the likes of Kompany, Vidic, Puyol etc. imo, it's really just his physical state that doesn't allow him to reach an even higher level. So I'm personally gonna go back to reds for DEF, lowered consistency though as he can't maintain a high level regularly, though I'm also fine with the current value as it's still a fantastic value.
