Nonsense. He even admitted that at his age he expects playing less than he used to.

in hindsight we were wrong to lower his stats so drastically, i propose an update with a drop in form to 6

Agree with raising stats like ATT, RES, SA and TW (adding Free Roaming), rest looks fine to me tbh. We need a replacement for Lamps.

theres not a single player like him, and probably won't be ever again to to the way players are now coached

I agree with you, that would be more realistic :)

You're right about that, we'll never get a midfielder as effective as him. But maybe we can get who will also be highly influential, though not per se in terms of statistics.

I'd like a small increase to DA, too.
He was phenomenal, 20+ goals and 10+ assists in the PL for consecutive seasons is just over the top. Legend.

Is that necessary? He never dribbles anymore.
20+ goals in all competitions btw ;).

He's not dribbling much but he shows some neat touches at times.
And "All competitions" yes forgive my mistake :P I guess i was too passionate about him

I'm fine with either DA 80 or 81.

How does this look?:
ATT: 81
RES: 82
AGI: 75
SA: 82
TW: 86
CON: 6
Add Free Roaming

Sliding should probably be removed. And no, not because is tackle against Wolves but because his sliding tackles haven't been as good/clean as before the past year.

I'd go one higher on all stats there and part from tw and lower it instead plus raise spa

and Im not sure on sliding, tbh I think it should stay

Fine with everything you said except for raising SPA, he's become too sloppy to warrant a raise imo. He's not been producing any killer passes as well.
EDIT: Updated the values we've agreed on.

You're right, he hasn't played as a AMF since the first half of 09/10 (played at the tip of the diamond formation).

I think his DA should get a few points up, his close dribbling is nice, just slow.

BAL: 80 has a good bulk, which can be is that age is no longer as before and this slower
DA: 82 is has very good dribbling and I q is too low in 80 believe that 82 could do
AGI: 76 still has some decent agility
SP: 86 tremendous force to kick, at its best was 89/90
FKA: 77 is still in my view good kicker foul
TECH: 83/84 has a great technique, on at this time is below 82 Trezeguet, Cavenaghi, higuiain, which I think are very overrated in his technique
AGG: 79 as aggressively as iniesta
