Vlad Chiriches is a promising young defender who was formed by Sporting Lissabon before moving back to Romania. He's a defender but very elegant with the ball who doesn't hesitate to use it to make runs into the oppositions half to create a dangerous attack. Defensively I'd consider him a rough diamond as his placement isn't really the best but he makes up for it with his very clean interventions and above average agility and speed. Definately another talented technical Cb which has become a trademark for Romania as he can look up to similar players such as Gica Popescu, Chivu or Stefan Radu.
