Incredible positioning. What a save last game.

I think he's better than every defensive midfielder on Defense positioning and Mentality.

Buonanotte, Cazorla, Joaquín and Monreal have been great too. Also Mathijsen and Demichelis have been doing an amazing pair behind, secure, always in the right place....

Do I dare too much when saying his def could easily be yellows? I find him fantastic, almost always on teh right place. To be such a quality DMF he Is also almost like an extra CB In that aspect and he's one of the best in one on one vs enemy players.

Traduction: Toulalan steals more balls (202) that Khedira and Xabi Alonso (189) all together.

I don't follow him regurlarly at Malaga, but even with his performances at lyon(except maybe his last months with Lyon when he was struggling) i think Toulalan has showed enough to be worthy of a yellow def(see also some pages ago when he was praised for his good performances as a CB).

Now Málaga is underachieving, but Toulalan is still one of the best and most consistent DMs in La Liga.
