pep is using 3-4-3 more and more so i think soon it could be put as a serious defoult formatio, lets wait until madrid to see what he does

We're working in, it's quite difficult to judge wich will be the final formation 'cause Pep is rotating a lot. Sometimes the same 3-4-3 seems a 3-5-2... Probably we put the two more possible formations on the first post, but let's wait a bit more please ;)

That's exactly what I was thinking too Xyder, if you want we could work together on a new formation, considering the upcoming Derby vs Real Madrid, we could have a better idea of Pep's tendency and what his starting eleven are for the "big matches"

Oh, and BTW, is there any new tool going around for PES formations, since the one I use (like in the 1st post) is completely outdated to new generation PES

Amazing match, well someone said to wait until the clasico to see which formation he used in big matches, he used a 3-4-3, he said it after the match his inicial plan was to play with 3 in the back, so i think we could at least, if not as the defould one, put the 3-4-3 formation with the 4-3-3 one.

In fact, he said that he started with a back 4, to add stability to the back line, and thinking about modifying it after some minutes... In this affair, and after watching the match, soon Xyder and I will post up our version of what Pep uses as a formation... TBH, I'm really thinking of an right sided offensive "zona mista" (italian 90's era formation).

Anyhow... Freagin' great match

i do not get your right side offensive "zone mista" thing, whats that?.

Anyway, i think they clearly played with 3-4-3 Puyol RCB, Pique CCB, Abidal LCB, Busquets DMF, Xavi CM, Iniesta CM, Fabregas AMF, Alves RWG doing all the right side up and down, Alexis LWG, Messi CSS.
When i sai R i mean right, L left anc C central.

If you remember the interview yesterday, he directly said. "I started with a back 4 line, intending to change it after some minutes, but we all saw what happened.."

An in fact, if you watch carefully, yesterday Busquet played practically as a CB, opening up Puyol to the right, and pushig Dani as a RMF... In fact, at the second period Barça started the "infamous" back 3 line promised, but app for 45-60 minutes Barça played a back 4...

I think Barça will always look to use a back for, with a more defensive left back, thus the before mentioned "zona mista", obviously modified to a MUCH more offensive strategy. But if you carefully compare a full attacking side, like, for example, Bielsa's Athletic, or Universidad de Chile in South America, you can clearly see that Barça isn't an attack animal, but a posession beast.

Even Guardiola has mentioned many times that his teams flow during a match, so therefore, we need to create a PES tactic that reflects this movement, and after trying it out a huge deal this past month, personally an irregular back 4 has proven much more efficient than a back 3.

In a few days I'll post my formation with Xyder, don't worry

We'll do it as fast as we can Almm, remember that this forum is worldwide, and, for example, in this case, I'm from South America, Xyder from Span, and to coincide easily with the hour gap isn't just as easy, particularly when at least one of us works... (Me, I dunno about Xyder).

Tx for the interest anyhow

Excuse 'cause I'm busy till the end of this week, I agregate TradeMark to Skype, so I hope we can make this meeting soon.
It will be interesting how we can translate the past week formation IG. So IMO, when Pep changed the formation, they doesn't play with 3 defenses at all, I feel Busquets was more a CWP than a real DMF. Also Alexis played like a true CF so much time. But we haven't seen this formation in the past matches, so will be a clue to stablish the changes of formation along the match depending the score.

I think he simply played with a 3-4-4:
Valdes, puyol, Pique, Abidal in defence, Busquets, Xavi, Cesc, Messi midfild (with Messi playing as AMF and going what he wanted) Iniesta and Alves (he also came back to help when needed) on the wings and Alexis CF. Thats it, its not that difficuld, Busi was playing as a DMF who helped the defense when they need it thats all, call it CWP or DMF doesn't matter.

Thanks for your opinion ALMM, we'll take it under consideration with the many others we have/get.
Yesterday Xyder and I talked, and we agreed on a schedule, which, included extensive testing, so by the end of the month we should have a serious update. I also want to thank the few pm's which want to remain anonymous, your support is valuable, and if Xyder and I need the help, we'll sum u up, but for the moment, we're quite well alone, (Y)
