a question here, if pepe has such a low mentality to represent his occaisonal craziness and irrational behaviour, shouldn't barton be no different?

This is not to say that Barton should be lowered, rather i'm questioning the varying standards of mentality.

I've yet to see the computer make a player do something crazy because of mentality, my own belief is that mentality is only how well a player can play when fatigued, how long he can carry on when he's tired.

I've no idea how a player can somehow show better leadership or craziness because of mentality (What, do they shout more or make epic faces and crazy tackles? i don't see any of this in the game )

For me it's slightly similar to when a goalkeeper scores a goal a la howard, will you boost his shooting because of such an oddity of a thing?

I like how he's playing here, he's very important for Marseille in the build of offensive actions. Whereas he can be very average like against Lyon, he's a lot of times running everywhere, making great passes (and a lot of assist). His spirit is exactly what Marseille need.

I watched a game vs Guingamp, and I've noticed that too, but I think it's because he is very strong, and BAL 82 for his height is a small value, I see him around 85, he easily knocks on the ground tall black players, they bounce off him like he's a rock, also he doesn't use hands, but clean power of his body!

yeah , making fouls using his BB but its not caused by it , fouls are mainly due to poor Defensive intelligence (bad tackling , lunging tackles ... etc).
but i have to admit that hes not bad in this aspect , its just that the 71 seemed high for my liking ...

On my OF, I have him with theses values + higher Speed Stats.
Actually, I find him fine with his actual TS, ACC, Agility and DS.

But technically, I need to see more of his TEC and DA - he is quite low here and also, Response needs to raise - he is really agressive.
Also, Balance and Stamina from Stu are good too.

Oh yeah so it was BigStu and not Mr Evan's like I said.

Yeah about Response I'm on the same view, he's very agressive on defensive actions and coming a lot into the box on offensive actions.

Today he show great cover on defence. His not that agressive (offensivly), agression can go down drastically, something like 75 (Konami) looks better.

And in fact his response looks good like this, he's going to the leg of his opponents at the very end of the actions like the card enforcer makes but he isn't agressive or moving everywhere like the card response will do. I'm fine with this 77.

Then his passes are great every week, especially LPA, it can go up, I play with 87 LPA in game. His trough passes from deep are fantastic, even on floor.
