Damn i can't believe it.
I see videos of Garrincha, and later videos of Messi.
Right, Garrincha is a fucking beast, but man tbh, Messi is more dribbler, so far, no have comparation i also think can be better dribbler than Maradona, Messi is for other planet. i don't see a better dribbler than Messi in the history. it's amazing.
I reaffirm my theory on Messi. Messi is better dribbler than Maradona, Maradona is only most genius.
I need to put videos about Messi and after Garrincha to realize?
I think being a historic player, which marks an epoch, it is thought too much about it, no doubt about his abilities, is a great player, but Messi is better, much better.

Thats because you are seing Messi in his best and live, watch all his games, but guy, watch the videos of brazil games in 1958 and 1962 world cups ALL MATCH (90 minutes) and you will be scared how Garrincha dribbled his markers in 90% of the oportunitties... and Garrincha is something that for me is the most important, he is a winner. When Messi proves his potential in the NT, your opinion can be analised. The videos of that time are simply poor, you watch Messi in HD and edited, you can watch Garrincha with difficulties.

Videos are videos, you are liying if you say that videos of messi are edited.
Garrincha have a style of dribbler, like Ronaldinho, is more technical and maybe more beutiful, but best dribbler? nono you are confusing, the goals of make Messi, Garrincha never can do it, but no Garrincha only, nobody can do.
Garrincha is a great thats true, but tell me about who player do best dribbles, and pass more players than Messi? Except Maradona, and Maybe Ronaldo.

Eliminating Garrincha from all time SA XI is like eliminating Georgi Best from the minds of Britons...is effing impossible

A more balanced squad while including fellas from different nations:

GK:
Fillol (Argie)
Mazurkiewicz (Uruguay)
Manga (Brazil)

CB:
Elias (Chile)
Passarella (Argentina)
Nasazzi (Uruguay)
anyone among these would suffice...Domingos da Guia (Brazil) or Gamarra (Paraguay) or Chumpitaz (Peru) or Santamaria (Uruguay) or Perfumo (Argie)

WB:
Djalma Santos (Brazil)
Nilton Santos (Brazil)
Carlos Alberto (Brazil)
Marzolini (Argentina)

..........Honorable Mentions: Zanetti (Argentina), Junior (Brazil), Andrade (Uruguay), Gambetta (Uruguay)

DM/CM:
Didi (Brazil)
Andrade (Uruguay)
Falcao (Brazil)
Monti (Argentina)

...........Honorable Mentions: Redondo (Argentina), Gerson (Brazil), Cueto (Peru), Varela (Uruguay)

AM:
Diego (Argentina)
Zico (Brazil)
Schiaffino (Uruguay)
Di Stefano (Argentina)

............Honorable Mentions: Pedernera, Bocha, Roman, Sastre (Argentina), Rivelino, Zizinho, Socrates, Rivaldo (Brazil), Walter Gomez, Pedro Rocha, Enzo (Uruguay), Cubillas (Peru)

Wingers:
Garrincha (Brazil)
Jairzinho (Brazil)
Houseman (Argentina)

...........Honorable Mentions: Julinho, Canhoteiro, Jair da Rosa (Brazil), Corbatta, Laustou, Orsi (Argentina), Ghiggia (Uruguay)

SS/ST:
Pele (Brazil)
Ronaldo (Brazil)
Romario (Brazil)
Arsenio Erico (Paraguay)
Messi (Argentina)
Moreno (Argentina)

.............Honorable Mentions: Spencer (Ecuador); Ademir de Menenes, Leonidas, Ronaldinho (Brazil); Batistuta, Sivori (Argentina); Scarone (Uruguay)

Valderrama need to stay, is a symbol of southamerica and Colombia, imo more transendent than francescoli and maybe cubillas, Valderrama should be in the reserves.

Can di stefano play there, I know we have to try and find room for him, but DMF? I would consider bumping pele out wide, dropping garrincha and playing di stefano through the centre. Then there is messi to consider.

I would put Chilavert to the goalkeeper. In defense I would play 3 as with the Ajax Classic with SAC / LIB. I would put Santamaria in the axis in LIB, Carlos Alberto SAC to the right and Figueroa SAC to the left.

Just in front of them I would position Varela and JL. Andrade in MDF. As the MDF play very low in the new games, it will make almost a defense to 5 with Varela and Andrade as first rampart.

Higher I would put Maradona and Di Stefano in the creation of the game, positions MO.

Then I would position Garrincha in AI to the right and Pelé in SA to the left, what allows to attack on all the width of the ground.

To end Ronaldo in AC what allows to have fox in the box.

Otherwise in reserve I would add Gilmar, , Sotil, Gerson, Roberto Carlos and Cafu. Of what you think of it?

Yeah, is Di Stefano Argentinean or Spanish? :D
Odd to see him for Spain All Stars (not Argentinean enough) and South America All Stars (now Argentinean enough).

If he stays for Spain, I would place Spencer or A. Erico in just to add some different countries to the team.

That team is heavily unbalanced, just Obdulio to mark -taking into account Didí wasn't so much awesome defensively to hold up the midfield and having Passarella and Carlos Alberto in the defence makes even weaker the whole defensive system-, as Rob says it seems Maradona is the coach. And tbh I could never ever get out Ronaldo from the team. But I understand is a really hard and annoying thing to get out any of those monsters.

Heavily unbalanced?
Didi used to play with one real DH like Zito for the national team or Airton/Pampolini for Botafogo. so he could easily help.
Nilton Santos and carlos alberto played as CB at the end of their careers so they also would know how to cover spaces for Passarella's attacks.
Romário is just a personal choice based on the type of play I would like for my team.
