I've already suggested Peyroteu, but it was overlooked it seems.
I wouldn't mind removing some forwards from the english contingent. I do think that he deserves to be there more than guys like Fashanu, for instance. Peyroteu would eat Fashanu alive, trust me.

Wouldn't be too sure, I think Fashanu has a black belt in karate.. He liked being more of an annoying cunt rather than a hard player though (also see Dennis Wise and Joey Barton) Peyroteo could probably replace Norman Whiteside who going to replace with Joe Jordan anyway.

Mostly Europeans so far, Antonio Rattin or Paulo Montero could possibly be added

I have no doubts that Fashanu could beat Peyroteo on a fighting arena, but on a football field, the higher brute strenght of Peyroteo would most probably prove preponderant, as Fashanu would not be allowed to employ his martial arts techniques.

Making an analogy, Peyroteo was much more of a wrestler than Fashanu. But now that you talked about it, I'll probably agree with removing Whiteside instead of him.

craig bellamy deserves a mention (even if only a slight one) aside from bsut ups with various team mates, opposing players and managers over the years, he was attacked by a gang outside a nightclub and he procedeed to beat the shit out out of them (he was outnumbered lik 5 to 1) until mates cames out the club to help till the police arrived

exactly, he's bully and has some funny episodes outside pitch but should be the motus on selecting hardman, should be their intense physical dominance showed in every play they got into

I mean, speaking of episodes, and on a contemporany level, I can recall prety well the one with Phill Babb, irish defender of Liverpool 90's
when he, after a national team victory, got himself on the top of a police lady car, and smashed it right in front of her eyes

phill babb was a real wanker. btw materazzi wasn't really a "hardman" sure he'd fuck you up if you wronged him.. but in the pitch he was more about pure underhanded filthy tactics... he disguised his brutality. He was crazier than pretty much anyone.. cause he didn't do it out of anger.. he was just fucken evil and did it for fun. Players like keane were just physcos consumed by rage and very in your face about it.. materazzis not so much.. and he wouldn't have a problem rolling around faking an injury either...
