I think his passing is decent. Gave some good passes including a very good long pass to Rosales on the far right. He's also currently the assist leader of Twente.

Yeah his crossing is not bad. Is even taking corner kicks and stuff. Still lacks proper DA though. He just searches for a lot of space on the side line. Controls the ball, shoots it past his opponent and starts running, haha. With players like De Jong and Janko it is quite obvious that either one of the wingers would be the assist leader though.

Note: Adriaanse said he really needs to work on his shooting, and his consistency during a game. His stamina is fine (according to Adriaanse) but he just isnt able to do his offensive duties for the full game.

What about raising his WFF and WFA and his TECH (+2?)?

Agree as well, John has the qualities to become a great winger (which could be empasized a bit more in his stats). At the moment he sometimes fades a bit during matches so to me it is just a consistency issue which separates him from the top wingers in the Eredivisie

Slightly updated. Gave him the incisive run, but now I feel not 100% about that one....

"I still make bad decisions [on the pitch] to often. Also I need to get more consistent."
Ola is damn right, but I could see a second Elia in Ola John. He is speedy (maybe even quicker then these stats?) and knows how to cross and to score (however his shooting is pretty average he still scores quite often).

Still has not really convinced me, to be honest. He's got a fair bit of pace, decent general awareness but he needs to improve mightily if he wants to be the second Elia for Twente. I think him and Ebicilio are pretty similar, apart from the fact he's faster than Ebicilio and thus gets away with more things.

I think he might just deserve a 7 for WFA and/or WFF. DS can also be raised a little.

I am not sure about his DS/DA/SA to be honest. Great talent (one of my favourite young players in the Eredivisie), but he can be quite rough on the edges. I dont think his bigger strength is his technique, for a winger he is just average, but where other winger only have their TECH/TS as an asset, John boasts his team play, crosses, goal-directness, decent strengh and height and most importantly almost two-footedness.

DA: 82
DS: 84/85
SA: 74/75
TECH: 81
TW: 78-80

Agree, without a doubt. He is way overrated now.

Agree with DS and SA, TECH is just a point but I'm also fine with that but I wouldn't go lower than a 83 for DA though. Like Suarez he has a weird style, not saying they have the same style, but he's effective at getting past players and can surprise with very good control. A bit rough yeah but still.
On TW, haven't you read about the effect of high TW on wingers?
