Oh, here we go. Kieran Gibbs. He showed some good performances, but he showed his weak spots aswell.

Stamina: 83 - He runs a lot, he is a SB in Arsenal, Wenger wants him in the attack, in the defence too. He can run all 90 minutes, and that's what this number shows I think.
Top speed: 87 - Pretty fast player. When he hits the top I see in him new Clichy. Really fast, I'm surprised with it.
Acceleration: 87 - Fast on the first metres, I can't believe how much I've underrated him in terms of speed..
Response: 77 - Good for an 19-years old SB.
Dribble speed: 82 - He loses his pace with ball, but still quite fast...

That's all I think. The rest seems OK. Let's lead discussion...

For an 18yr old with limited 1st team experience I think a 78 is a good value not average. I would say a 76 is average for a player of that experience. Especially when you consider there are few SB's on this database that have higher than 82 in RES

Yeah, the first time I have 76-78 region, but then I've edited it only to 78. You're right, it isn't average for an 19-years old full back, it's good. Whatever, if you compare him with 18-years old Rafael, they could be on the same level, he has also 78.

EDIT: But it doesn't look right... Degen or Arbeloa will be on the same level, then.. even Fabio Aurelio will be lower than them. Has Aurelio really that "bad" reading the game or do I suggesting too high number? Ok, I'll lower response to 76, yeah?

As I was mentioning in the Luke Young thread...the "Response Revolution" never really reached SB's. So a lot of them are unfairly rated.

Gibbs played very well yesterday, this guy Burke from Cardiff really had no chance against him, Gibbs was definately faster than Burke(TS/ACC 82/86)

Just out of curiosity, mates... does he justify his high balance (only 64 kg's and looks very "skinny" based on the pic) and high aggression values?

I'd put Aggression as an 83/84 actually he does go forward all the time very similar to a young Ashley Cole. I'd also raise stamina to about 85 he's very athletic and doesn't get tired despite all the running.

Yes, he is skinny, but I'm quite surprised. It doesn't look that a lot of players can easily out-muscle him. He is not player in 80's though, but high's 70 seems good. From what I've seen he looks even stronger than Clichy in some moments. But it's hard to compare them, coz I haven't seen Gibbs as much as Clichy, not so many times. I think we can be contented with the updates already made. He needed an update, quite generous in speed and stamina. It wasn't too hard to suggest them, he is just pretty fast player and 79 for his staminawas extremly low. But for body balance, aggression we need to see him against better players, as I said, he doesn't seem weak to me and if he will play against better team, I think he won't go to attack so far. So for this moment I'd leave this thread as it is for now.

From watching him in the reserves and in the Carling Cup/F.A. Cup I'm pretty sure his Shot Power needs a little boost, he's shown on a few occasions that he's got quite a hard shot. Something around the 80-82 region would be fair I think.

Agree with you, and I would suggest LPS increase to 78-79.I watched him in FA cup match last night and he performed some really sharp crosses.

I'm pretty sure he deserves this number in defence. His tackles are pretty good for an 19-years-old full back. Accurate and he rarely makes mistakes, recently. So, for me 66 is a number for Gibbs's defence!
