OLD DESCRIPTION:
Spoiler: show
Marius Niculae was once described by Rufay Zapata as the "most aggressive forward" he has ever come across. Not aggressive in PES terms, but Niculae is surely becoming a true leader on the pitch for Dinamo Bucuresti as he runs for every ball, fights for possession and drags the team along with him, by force if necessary. Niculae is really a fan's darling and don't get fooled by his smiles and civilized behaviour during interviews, this guy is the epitome of what passion means. He started out as a shooting star for Rapid Bucuresti and soon got compared to Andrei Shevchenko due to his style. He was a very interesting prospect and earned the interest of some high profile teams but he went for Sporting Lissabon. After a great debut and being considered the fan's favourite player he then suffered from a huge blow, a very complicated injury which took him years to get over it. He didn't connect with the team anymore and became a journeyman for quite some seasons without doing well in any of the clubs he played for. He then finally decided to return to Romania signing this time with the infamous red dogs. Over here he started to get his confidence back and even got NT call ups again.

Marius Niculae isn't the fastest anymore by any means sadly, probably due to the injury he suffered from but this guy has a left foot that can bomb the ball with impeccable power past any keeper. He's also renowned for his incredible heading which enables him to be a huge force in the air despite his relatively low height.

 wtf @ shot power?

I remember him from the old days too... can u imagine that this guy was once on a level that he was perfectly capable of being compared to someone like Shevchenko in his prime?

possibly a lack of time and the necessity of creating him for the NT or something.

I totally underrated his weak foot accuracy here... he's actually well known to be both footed

he's basicly non existant lately... he seems slow and stiff, barely manages to shoot on goal and doesn't get any chances either. He seems tired after 70 minutes and usually only makes himself visible when he protests or does a rash tackle. He deservingly got 88 for SP but I didn't see such a shot lately. It's like he couldn't carry his good form from last season to this one and I start to realize how bad he can be. His performances are a joke compared to other guys such as Kapetanos or Bilasco

the first post already represents a player unwilling to rush into goal scoring positions and someone who can easily be closed down because of his legs (agility and speed ratings). his finishing makes him out be one of the best in the league and his attacking intelligence is almost unmatched by any defender in the league. his stamina is already rather low and will force him to struggles if he exerts himself too much. his shot power is unmatched by a lot keeper's reflexes. his shots would simply zoom past the majority of keepers in Romania so unless he's pulling off powerful shots on regular basis, i guess that could be lowered to mid 80s, no? for now, i think you should simply lower his form because he's clearly not in good form on regular basis to be sitting on such a figure ;) hope that was helpful.

Good point A-SK ;)
Lately even Cristea isn't in his top form and why Niculae should be ?
His shot is very powerful but only when he strikes the ball as he wants to strike it.
Maybe stamina a bit lowered and I think he can't be compared with Kapetanos or Bilasco , they are different type of strikers.

It's true that Dinamo doesn't like using a post player like Urziceni does but theoretically Niculae's role is similar to Kapetanos in the league atleast. Kape is definately faster, sharper and reads the game better than Niculae seemingly does. I will wait until this season ends to update Niculae and await his last performances to see if this is really him or the just the whole team that's busier doing scandals than training.

Judging him from his time at Inverness, ST could be a little higher, maybe 78-79.

his ST is generally not bad but due to his fitness I think he's not as good as he used to be in that area... I'll have to observe him more there... his lack of mobility kind of affected his shooting imo
