Alexandru Dobroiu made the headlines when it was reported that this guy can run 100 metres in under 11 seconds. Rapid fans were hoping that Alex could exploit his skills on the pitch but the coaches lacked the patience to give him a proper chance. He was loaned out various times but couldn't adapt to any team at all ending up at Rapid all over again. Nowadays he might get the odd appearance but his future isn't looking too good to be honest right now.

well... his DS is pretty low so he won't be able to use his speed that well when running anyways and 45 minutes is the most he's played for the senior team

He's a great player....and have a very good speed ....and tehnique.....this season maybe play more....

Dobroiu is said to be among the fastest in Europe but he didn't yet display it really imo, he received no real chance anyhow.

Pace has never been the problem of Romanian footballers, I think alot of their training especially in the youth is based on that, maybe the selection of players being promoted as well. The real problem is, that most of these guys are like sprinters but not athletes. Many guys are quick as hell but can't compete with the modern physical game. Sadly the technical education isn't really stunning either.

Having said that... I think there are more speedy players in the EPL and LaLiga than Romania, just in Romania there are barely slow players

thats a few months ago... he was loaned to CSM and I moved him there but he got sent back after some weeks and even played in octobre
