Yes, and Banega? Never like me Banega, seemed me not an excellent player since he debuted in Boca, never like me, but he did it well the last season.

IMO Mata will retain his position as a LWF/AMF/SS or whatever but most likely he'll be a AMF/SS while Piatti will occupy the LWF spot or they will actually rotate the whole game to confuse the opposition which is also a likely and very good idea as they are quite similar, with Pablo on the RWF

something like this (the current one just more offensive)

Guaita

Bruno-Navarro-Rami-Mathieu

Banega/Tino-Topal

Mata

Pablo----------Piatti
Soldado

Banega hasn't been starter most of the times this year due to his relationship with the coach and his unconsistent performances. so I doubt he'll be this season either...

@Fiddy you know, Pablo wasn't an starter either this year. Joaquín played better than him overall imo and that's why he was an starter above him most matches...
Still, remember...we're talking about Unai Emery...a guy who just can't play with the same 11 NEVER. He'll just change like 3 to 5 players on the next match even If It worked great. He just loves rotating (too much to me...)

I expect something like:

Guaita; Mathieu, Rami, ????, ????, Parejo, Topal, Tino; Mata, Soldado, Piatti. The ??? are because I'm not sure If they are going to buy another players...still the bench Is amazing (Pablo, Alves, Banega, Aduriz? (he may leave to Athletic), Jonas, Jordi Alba, Isco...)

PD: Just saw Cale posted before than me. I'm not sure about that, really. I think Parejo Is going to be an starter If nothing weird happens. Who knows, this coach's mind Is messed up.

IMO this seems like the ideal attacking formation with Mathieu as an attacking LB Banega/Tino providing passes also with Mata or Piatti a bit but less influential Bruno as a defending RB and Topal just sitting infront of the DEF while Pablo will be a B2B winger Piatti and Mata will rotate their position between LWF and AMF/SS the whole match IMO this team is solid enough i'd just buy a additional CB and/or a RB and a true DMF like Topal and the team is complete...oh and i forgot about Diego Alves, he's a starter for sure :D

you all seem to agree that Guaita will be the 1st GK; well..i dunnow, i'd guess Alves is slighty better no?
and @cale: navarro has been released, Valencia needs a new CB and RB soo bad, coz as i said before, Bruno isn't Valencia material tbh.

so thats how i see it:

D. Alves

Bruno?-??-Rami-Mathieu

Banega/Tino-Topal

Mata(AMF/SS)

Piatti(RWF/SS)----------Pablo(SMF/LWF)
Soldado

This guy is doing awful in Valencia. Seems like he can´t even trapp easy balls, make simple passes or take "normal" decisions.

For me, the worst player of Valencia this season, so far.

give him some time, he's relatively still young and was by far Almeria's best player last term...

Im not saying he is a bad player, just saying he is doing so far really bad. I hope he gets better, Valencia needs quañity players. Anyway, I feel TECH 86 is way too much even for Almerias Piatti.

What a shame of player... These two seasons he has done nothing! In Almería was good but now he doesn't know even dribbling :?

These is the prove that coach make most of players, Piatti was almost loan and sell, and last months even not play or did nothing, with new coach shoe again his skills, there are always there , but players like that needs confiance and coach that takes more and more from this guys

Gave him an update. He was halfway between old standards and a decent set. I'm still not sure about some values there... AGI is probably deserved, ACC not so much (perhaps a high yellow could be enough). I also have doubts about his ATT being this high. Other than that, that Form 5 is a generous reward to the good form he's shown so far this season, because in past years he was barely a 3.

What a change of Piatti at Almería to this Piatti... He seemed the new Messi (skilled, electrical, good shoot...) but I don't know how, he lost all of these abilities. That made that Piatti was on the bench for a long time. He didn't reacted and Djukic moved away of the team (that season Piatti chose #11, but Valencia signed the great Dorlán Pabón and at the end Pabón was #11 and Piatti #2...). And there, the new Piatti was born (less electrical, less dribbler... but more hard worker helping his teammates in defence and more pragmatical).

Therefore, I downgrade the speed section, DA, TECH (he has less than Rodrigo but more than Barragán  ) and I removed Dribbling and AMF (he ever plays on the side). Otherwise, I raised DEF and I assigned TW in 77. I think is a fine number.
