Mine Is Better To Be Honest Because Micah Richards Is Injured And They Play A Defensive And Centre Midfielders Not Two Defensive

Well, Zabaleta now plays in midfield.. both centre and right.
The most two recent games, vs Stoke and vs Newcastle,
they had same starting 11 which is the follwing.

----------Bellamy-----Robinho----------
SWP---Ireland---de Jong---Zabaleta
-Bridge-Kompany-Onouha-Richards-
--------------------Hart--------------------

But since Dunne is temporarily suspended and Petrov is injured,
we can put Petrov for LMF and move SWP to right and switch Dunne with Onouha.

Also, I suppose Given will be 1st choice keeper from next match

i respect your post . but zabeleta will do right back mostly and we are talking about the line-up for pes 2009 so people will put it on there games and my line up is the best possible one maybe richards instead of kompany but kompany is real good too

I agree with Robben's formation, but changing Hart for Given.

joe hart is better in the game because i was everton and my brother was man city and he put given in nets ... i won 4-0 in the first half then joe hart came on in the 2nd half and i never scored he save around 10 shots maybe more

Benjani seems like the more logical choice as CF tbh... hard worker, strong, fast... Adebayor type of player and they would lack height with their current line up
I'm against you

These are just guesses :|

Anyone else agree that this should be deleted until someone can produce an accurate formation and tactics :ugeek:

Logical thinking. There is no point in guessing, so I agree.

Mark Hughes doesn't. and who'd he play instead of?

He's lazy and inconsistent, Hughes is known for not liking that kind of player.

Formation : 4-2-3-1

Image

GK - Given
CB - Dunne (Captain)
CB - M. Richards
RB - Zabeleta
LB - Bridge
DMF - De Jong
DMF - Kompany
RMF - Wright-Phillips
LMF - Ireland
AMF - Robinho
CF - Bellamy

Free Kicks (Short & Long) = Ireland / Robinho
Free Kick Taker 2 = Robinho

Corners (Left & Right) - Ireland
Penalties = Robinho

Players To Go Up :
Dunne
Kompany

Paddy, why would Robinho play AMF and Ireland play LMF when they have been playing the opposite the majority of the season?

no they haven't.

Ireland Has played more times than anyone on the left. I know he plays AMF a lot aswell but since Bellamy has taken Robinho's place as CF I feel he'll play as his SS or AMF. as to me Hughes won't wast Robinho on the left.

apps at Left midfield

Ireland (7)
Elano (5)
Robinho (3)
Vassell (3)
Petrov, M (2)
Wright-Phillips (2)
Bridge (1)

1st) These are just guesses of where they will play...so as I suggested this thread should be deleted untill we can actually seem them play and KNOW their tactics.

2nd) I know exactly what you were looking at with those figures, and that is a total mis-interpretation of a useful site.

Not that it matters, but this is a more accurate breakdown of where they have both played since Robinho's arrival.

Robinho: LWF/LMF(8) CF/SS(8) AMF/SS(3)
Ireland: AMF(8) LMF(7) CMF(3) RWF/RMF(1)

Ireland playerd LMF 2 times when robinho was out of lineup

So assuming that Robinho would play AMF (which he has only played 3 times this season) over SS or LWF is quite surprising to me. Plus when Robinho plays CF/SS he is usually playing in on the left side.

But now that I did this work, it really doesn't matter, because this thread should probably be deleted

Then either delete it, or clear the first post and lock the thread? This is going nowhere as no one knows for sure what formation Hughes has in mind.

Id really like for this to be cleaned up, we might have to wait a couple of weeks to see the real lineup and formation.

My 2 cents on the lineup in the first post would be that Given is now the No.1.

Apart from that it doesnt look to bad to me for the time being.
