Ulrich 'Uli' Stielike Kempter is one of Real Madrid´s finest defensive midfielders.
Altought he was quite the injury prone, he was also a burst of stamina, combined with an intelligent reading of the game as well as a spirit of sacrifice that makes up for his slow pace or his not-so-spectacular dribbling abilities or tricks.
He started as a DM, but eventually was re-positioned to an unstopabble SWP, reminding people of Beckenbauer's great game and as a preview of what was about to come, with players such as Lothar Matthaus.
His goal scoring abilitie was quite good for a defensive player, especially due to his positioning. He even got the second place in Real's goalscorers once, just behind Santillana.
