He's not a DM, definately a CM. He supports the attackers to much to be a DM.

His shots aren't anywhere near 86, 82 is about right. His shot accuracy needs to go up a lot though considering rarely shoots yet scores most of his shots. I'd put it up to atleast 77.

I may be wrong, but doesn't he now get injured on a regular basis? I know he used to play many consecutive games, but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore. Forgive me if I'm wrong and his injuries are more temporary...

38 games this season, and 30 out of the past few years he's not a C player

I suppose Cons could go down one though

Such an overrated player here and in real life by the English media, Hitzlsperger is 2 times the player Parker is.

What're you laughing at? You've rated him as better than pretty much every midfield player in the league and given him DMF as his main position, cop on.

Excluding Hitzlsperger's thundering shot with his left foot, what else does he have?
'The Hammer' used to be a better player. His long-term injuries have worsened him. He never was the player West Ham needed to partner Parker, and they suffered the consequences with relegation. Reality bites!!

West ham were relegated because they got "defenders" who don't know the meaning of the word

Collectivly, yes they were shit, with too many average players and piss poor defenders, and a manager who is useless. And most of the team lacked spirt

Agree . I don't think 79 is suitable rate . He could have better passing ability .

His ball control is nowhere near TECH and DA 82 would suggest looking at (for example) yesterdays performances. He isnt slow on the ball and especially his turning circle is really small, but he doesnt keep the ball close enough. DA high 70s max. for me. Yesterday he gave some clear examples when the ball jumped of his feet or that the ball was stolen because the opponent could grab it of his feet.

The fact that he CAN dribble better then the average EPL CM/DM breaker is based on other things then close control IMO.
