By all mean change the stamina / speed for both if you believe them to need a bump.

Ok did a bit more comparing and contrasting and wracking my brain for more accurate values for the ones mentioned and here are the tweaks I believe work.
Attack: 66
Defence: 67
Stamina: 82
Top Speed: 82
Acceleration: 82
Long Pass Accuracy: 74
Aggression: 76

Attack should be about 65 in my opinion, he doesn't get forward much really.
Defence doesn't need a raise either, 65 is only 2 below Johnson so it's still a decent value.
Agree with your other suggested changes though.
Finally I don't think his crossing is quite worthy of a green number yet.

Are you kidding? Flanagan has a mean cross on him when he actually finds the space to get one in.
His attack would be fine at 67 as it mostly contributes towards defensive positioning to which he is close to Johnson. In a few years he'll surpass him in this area, mark my words.
It's his aggression that has been suggested for lowering by me as it reflects a little better his lack of many forward runs, although he does get forward on occasion during a match.
