Update and alternation of HUGO MALLO'S STATS Could on par with this stats

This guy, since he was playing w/ Celta young team 3 years ago, always remind me a lot of Villarreal's Angel Lopez when he played for Celta some years ago, maybe when he was at his best level ever. But Mallo was much more defensive. When he played his first matches w/ Celta last year, he was much more of a defensive SB, almost like another CB, as for attacking issues he didn't took any risks, always playing w/ his mind in doing a good defence & covering his team mates when they went on attack.

But after just 2 years in the first team, his progression has been amazing, he's not only as good at defence as he has always be, now he is stronger & faster, but especially he gained much more confidence in himself, now he is not afraid of attacking, he takes risks with one on two passes or running to the corner and sending some good long passes, even shooting on goal, he's a total dif player right now, giving goal passes, and even scoring some nice goals here and there, becoming maybe the best RSB in Liga Adelante.

I'm absolutely sure he will be playing in first division next season, being at Celta if we win the play offs, or at another 1st level team at the end of summer transfers; seems like Chelsea & Valencia are the most interested ones since winter, so let's see what happens.

Anyway, he still a lil far away yet from the best version he can offer in the next future. These are the stats i've been working on:

I haven't followed him enough, but I'm sure he can get better STA, not by much but I personally go for something like 84-85, taking in count Doggy's suggestion, I go for 85.
Like the first post is so old, I'll post xurxoxai's set in the first post and we try to tweak it from there.

I can't watch today's whole match, but I don't think he deserves such high RES. He's on pair with Sergio Ramos and one point ahead Arbeloa, I recognize he's good, but I would go for something like 81 or even 82.
I also think he could get some points on AGI and DS, like 2-3 points each one.

well, maybe not that game, but at 1st remembering, i suggest you to watch the 1st match of this season against Villarreal B, i think it was around october; or the last one at play-off against Granada last wednesday.

Hugo Mallo - Spain's future marauding right-back UPDATE

One of the more necessary updates in the league below, this guy is one of my favorite players, his intelligence has no limit, in the promotion playoff matches against Granada was the terror of Dani Benitez

One of the most impressive young players in the Spanish Segunda Division is Celta Vigo's right back Hugo Mallo.

Mallo is one of the biggest reasons Celta are near the top of the table fighting for promotion, and his ability has not gone unnoticed by bigger sides.

Recently it has been reported that giants Valencia are closely watching Mallo and are looking to sign him ahead of next season. It has also been reported that Villarreal, Juventus and Atletico Madrid are interested in the 19-year-old, who is a member of the Spanish youth national side and only started to play senior football last season.

All these great sides are interested in the player for good reason, as Mallo has the potential to become a top right-back for the Spanish national team in the years to come. Combining physical, technical and mental abilities, he is a highly impressive right back - definitely a worthy player to watch.

Strengths

Mallo is a great prospect, first of all due to his acceleration and pace, which are on par with the fastest players in Spain. The young right back has nimble movement with or without the ball. In addition, Mallo is a strong player for his height, has very good natural balance and is capable of holding off taller and heavier players.

Mallo also possesses excellent technical skills for a defender. He is very much attack-minded, has highly impressive dribbling skills and can cross accurately while sprinting. He has a very decent right foot and can pose a threat to goal with his shooting from distance.

The most import strength of Mallo is his intelligence. He moves very cleverly across the pitch, both offensively and defensively. His clever runs into deep positions benefit his team's attacking game, while he also maintains a high level of focus defensively, making very few mistakes. He is a mature player, far beyond his years.

Weaknesses

Mallo has very few weaknesses as a player. In terms of potential he is the complete package needed in a full-back.

Currently Mallo still receives too many cards. The reason is that he is highly determined, and is often over-aggressive. He needs to learn to be a little bit more composes in defence in order to avoid those cards.

In addition, Mallo doesn't have the technique of, say, Dani Alves. He has very good technique but it is not akin to the highest level of full backs in the world at the moment. He still needs to produce more in terms of scoring and assisting, but probably with time and due to his mentality and technical potential, this aspect will improve immensely.

Mentality

Mallo has a perfect mentality. He is an intelligent young lad, who is always willing to learn more and more about the game. His development is so fast mainly due to his impressive approach to the game. Mallo is a real team player with no ego in his game, while he is also very aggressive for the sake of his side, courageous and also can control his temper in a great manner.
