Updated Defence, Consistency and and Weak foot stats. What do people think about his jump value? I wouldn't put him this far ahead of Van der Sar. Response and Keeper Skills could see tweaks too, what do people think?

It must be good bye Reina, I mean I can't understand why Friedel would want to move to warm the bench like he did in his last stint at Liverpool.

Bizarre signing for Spurs. 2 year contract for a 41 year old.

good a deal for both of them, spurs get a reliable keeper, and freidal gets the money to solve his financial problems

In response to the person thinking it is a bizarre deal, quite the opposite. Gomes obviously needs some guidance and who better to kick him up the arse than Brad Friedel who is the epitomy of calm in the goal. Plus it adds great competition for a few years, then after that if Gomes is still fumbling around, punching his team mates in the face as he misses yet another cross, then he can be moved on, Friedel can retire and they can bring some fresh talent in.

That's a good point. I presumed his arrival meant Gomes would be off, in which case, Friedel as a replacement would be a very short-term solution. But if he's coming in as a sort of mentor, you're quite right.
