Evans is going to be the next Ireland captain, his defensive play is very effective~ I hoped that his response and defense can increase a little more, thanks ^^

He is one of my most successive defender in PES2009, although I only use his default stats to play, which is very low. BUT he can play very well in the game, a higher stats will be great.

I know how you feel Paddy, they seem to tarnish us with the same brush. Heck, look in the first post, Mr RVN thought that I'm from Northern Ireland

Niall McGinn is quite a talent, although I've heard that we've got some young stars coming through the Arsenal academy whom are supposedly better prospects than some of their Reserve players! The future's not that bad, ey?

And I wouldn't mind having Tony Capaldi, obviously not as a first choice left-back, but he'd add some depth and wouldn't be too bad when played. Well, anything is better than O'Shea at times :D

john o'sheas our CB now! Foley must start as out right back he's miles ahead of mcshane, and well, who can end kilbanes endless inclusion in the panel.

who? i only know of conor henderson, and don't forget rob brady! or sean scannell.

i'll be happy once trap realises we need some creativity in our midfield, and not mcgeady who just hasn't performed at the international stage or duffer who's past it.

give Hunt the left flank and keogh the right. and steven reid [when he's back] CM along with Andy Reid as the more attacking CM

I know O'Shea's our CB now, but he has played as our left-back countless times. But I don't agree with playing Kilbane there either (I presume that when your talking about Kilbane, you're referring to when he plays as a midfielder, right?). I'm just glad that Delaney's getting games there now

I don't agree with your proposed midfield there. Whilst it certainly has that creative spark, it's lacking a player in the holding role and would cause more problems for our defence than neccessary. You've got to have a DMF starting, even if it is Carsley or Holland, but having Andy Reid as a sub would probably be better.

Steven Reid could fill that gap, Carsleys been suprisingly more attacking with birmingham. :?

Holland well, he'll be 36 by the next world cup and i think trap wants players in the squad who will be there with him.

He actually was pretty amazing against Chelsea actually. Filled in very nicely in place of Ferdinand.

His long passing stats (and week foot) should be bumped up a few points i think, he's really good at crossfield passes with both feet.

IMO his attack could go up a few points. He's one of the more "attacking" defenders in the team. And his aggression should be in the mid 70's too.

Age: 21

The future looks extremely bright with this kid. Tough spot to be behind Rio and Vidic. Agree with an increase in his attack, he loves to generate play from the back. I hope he gets some more games in because i feel we are underrating a class young talent. Not now but in the future i think he'll prove worthy of more updates

I think his Defensive rating should go up. He's incredibly solid and has shown he's perfectly able to cover Rio. Great young player this lad.

Yeah I agree I think 82 - 83 is fair for now, Its been amazing how players have filled the void in Manchester's defense so well.
