I must reply. If you have/had time to watch some videos in the link I posted, you will see his enormous effort in every game - even in late 90's when he was much older. He was a leader and a brain of a team. His goal vs Spain in 1990, when he full-streched defence and Zubizaretta after recieving a high ball from Katanec, earns that value - not to mention his other moves, mostly dribbling based.
About his shot power. Imo, 83 is quite accurate cause he is well-known by his precise FK shots, not power ones. This goal vs Milan in Belgrade that ended blow bar was really one of the few, every time he tries to kick ball harder, it goes out of bounds...
