Nickname: "Julka"

Club: Partizan Belgrade (1960/1966) | Eintracht Frankfurt (1966/1968)
Growth type: Early/Lasting
INFO:
Member of Partizan generation called "The Partizan Babes". He made debut for Partizan first squad when he was 17 years old. He won 4 domestic league titles and played in Champions' Cup finals in 1965/1966 season.
He was a player with very good technique. He had excellent dribbling, great speed and acceleration, which allowed him to be constant danger on the right side (his long passes from right side were very good). He's third player in Yugoslavian football history with that kind of play as SB (and alongside Branko Stankovic, best ever who played as right or left full-back). Like most of the players from his generation, he also had that "never-say-die" attitude (he always gave 100% of his skills during the game and always behave like a true gentleman). His elegant style of play, good 1 on 1 game and almost always excellent solutions in attack and defense, were highly respected among Eintracht Frankfurt and Partizan Belgrade fans and supporters. He was one of the fans favorite player. Opponent's fans and players always respected him.
In national team he sometimes transformed into a CB, during the match, and he was very successful at that position (because of his good balance and good defensive positioning).
