Club: Partizan Belgrade (1960/1966) | Eintracht Frankfurt (1966/1968)

Growth type: Early/Lasting

INFO:

Member of Partizan generation called "The Partizan Babes". He made debut for Partizan first squad when he was 17 years old. He won 4 domestic league titles and played in Champions' Cup finals in 1965/1966 season.

He was a player with very good technique. He had excellent dribbling, great speed and acceleration, which allowed him to be constant danger on the right side (his long passes from right side were very good). He's third player in Yugoslavian football history with that kind of play as SB (and alongside Branko Stankovic, best ever who played as right or left full-back). Like most of the players from his generation, he also had that "never-say-die" attitude (he always gave 100% of his skills during the game and always behave like a true gentleman). His elegant style of play, good 1 on 1 game and almost always excellent solutions in attack and defense, were highly respected among Eintracht Frankfurt and Partizan Belgrade fans and supporters. He was one of the fans favorite player. Opponent's fans and players always respected him.

In national team he sometimes transformed into a CB, during the match, and he was very successful at that position (because of his good balance and good defensive positioning).

After a bit more researching and comparing, I've updated his stats and added a new format.

Removed CB, WB, SMF. Although he transformed into that position(s) during the match, I can find data that he started at any of those positions.

***

Changed Era from 1960-1970 to 1960-1968, removed *Positioning and *Side from Special Abilities and added *Reaction.

Abilities update:
Stamina: 90>91,
Top Speed: 85>86,
Response: 85<84,
Dribble Accuracy: 89<87,
Dribble Speed: 87<86,
Short Pass Speed: 83<82,
Long Pass Accuracy: 84<83,
Long Pass Speed: 86<84,
Shot Technique: 74<70,
Curling: 74>75,
Technique: 88<86,
Aggression: 80>82,
Mentality: 90>91.

+

Added new Cards:
P01: Overlapping Run
P06: Speed Merchant
P07: Mazing Run
S01: Reaction
S09: Covering
S20: Scooping

Attack/Defence Awareness Card: Balanced

These stats are one of the many reasons as to why I don't post in the classics.

I'm not saying that this player is overrated or rightly rated, as I have no information for him, although from the name he seems with albanian roots, but my question is: Have you seen him play Paddy? In any video or match or whatever?

Yeah no offence Paddy, but comments like that are pretty useless and nothing is going to be fixed in the classic section anytime soon by just criticizing players randomly and not offering the way to help.

I can't really comment on the stats as I only know him by reputation as best fullbacks in the history of Yugoslav football along with Ivković and Stanković. Things like his short passing values look too high for a fullback for example.. But we should really take it up with Plava when he returns as im sure he's actually researched the player.

This stats is possibly much overrated. Jusufi has never been rated by kicker even once time in international-class when he played for Frankfurt. I don't know if German in kicker magazine hate Yugoslav people or not but his rating is by far failed of standard of legend.
