Spoiler: show
Jack Wilshere is an amazing English talent. In February 2008, he made his debut for Arsenal Reserves against Reading, and scored Arsenal's only goal of the match. In April he made his home debut, against Derby County Reserves, coming off the bench to assist Rhys Murphy. Against a West Ham United side, he set up the first goal for Portuguese striker Rui Fonte and was the scorer of the second goal, a curler that went into the top corner. He then played in the Atalanta Cup along with the club's other Under-16 players where they won the tournament and Wilshere winning player of the tournament.

I'd rate him above all them CM's in terms of DA, which he is. Looking at the players at the same level as him, I'd say he is above the likes of Adam, Denilson and Barry personally in his ball control. His agility is his main weapon in dribbling but he just looks so assured and in control when dribbling, even at high speeds, which should also be considered and shows very good close control even in tight spots. I'd see no problems with him on 84 and even higher in the future.

Again, he is rightly above the players mentioned who are below him in technique. Its true that his 1st touch isn't always perfect as it can at times just bounce off of him, similarly like Torres & Drogba (in their prime, particularly Torres, and they're on 86) but his 2nd and 3rd touches are always classy and he has such an elegance and flair about his style of play that is uncommon in English players (particularly CM's). Also he can display some sublime touches at times too. Not sure what I'd give him though.

You know phil, I know it may seem weird coming from a moderator, but my god the ladders in the EPL are just so blatantly wrong, its hard to base a player's skills via comparison (mainly due to them being a tad outdated) we all know SWP is a punter of the ball rather than a player who'll dribbler with it, no way on earth does he deserve an 80's value. I'd say currently he is above Denilson and Barry, but I'd not say they're exactly good when it comes to close control, would you? I'd have his DA very close to Gerrards, and Adams, while I'd actually rate Jenas and McCarthy above him, if you want to help in fixing the ladders pm me with your version of them and hopefully they can be updated. I've got the night free so I can focus on a lot of changes.

What do you mean, the bit about him looking unrefined ? I just meant that sometimes the ball can go astray at times but his general ball control and technique is very good. He can dribble in tight spaces and shows some classy touches. I don't see Park Ji Sung or Wright-Phillips as being on the same level as him in ball control and players like Kalou aren't above him in technique imo.

I meant as in "still has a lot more control over the ball than any of the players at the same TECH and DA as him imo." My fault, I should have highlighted.

jack wilshere is an exelent player, he is a CM but he constantly pass to the attack so he needs maybe 77 attack. and his technique is one of his biggest qualities so 82 is too low for him, approximattely 85 to 89. sorry for my english :D

Do you know what "nemesis" means? A righteous infliction of retribution manifested by an appropriate agent. Personified in this case by an 'orrible cunt... me.

I was wrong when I said that he could easy deserve TECH 85, know that I have watched more games of him, but I'm sure that he can get a higher tech something around 83~84, I know that sometimes the ball skip his control when trapping, but he can do some good things with his first touch, I have see he sometimes doing some good 1-2 and dribbling some defenders almost using his 1-touch skills, his ACC helps a lot.
SA 73 SP 79 ST 76 (I liked the SA and ST that he had on pedala set, but IMO he can't put so much power his SP remember the Iniesta one, about the SA and ST I remember a game that he almost scored a hat-trick vs Rangers, he showed some decent accuracy and especially good ST did some good cheap shots and in a vs Shaktar that he made a good goal some small pressure that he putted the all over the keeper body.)
AGG: 78~79 (he should have a high agg, sometimes he plays more deep, like a DMF but in that position he still goes forward, he is more AGG than Fabregas IMO, is easy see he pushing a counter attack, running with the ball until the attack.)
S02 - Passer (he don't deserve yet any playmaking card, but has good eye for a pass he was a good TW but I think he likes to do make some incise passes and IMO this card s going to help him tries to make more frequent, I know that he isn’t a accurate passer but he has a low level I think he ne
eds something more.)

Is he not a better short passer than this? He can be incosistent on occasion due to inexperience, but he's generally spot on and very intelligent on the ball.
