Curtean is one of the most interesting players currently in Liga1. He possibly possesses the strongest shot in Liga1 and uses a great deal of curl which is sort of unique, especially for a player his age. Some of his shots were comparable to Hagi too and so far he managed to score a good couple of goals this season, he's a man for spectacular attempts and greats goals but generally doesn't really position himself well at all. Often is he inactive and not to be seen, out of the technical attack he's probably the least involved but still the most promising.
explanation:
attack: Terrible positioning upfront, disappears in many actions because he simply doesn't know where to be... theres quite a few sidebacks who probably are smarter in this aspect than him.
defence: He's a tough defender for a lazy winger/SM and showed some WB/SB attributes in his defending especially when he loses the ball.
stamina: very tired after 70 something minutes and only seldomly showed what he's capable of in the dying minutes
Passing: his passes are very sharp and quite accurate too but what really gives him the edge so far is the fact that each of his pass has a good enough speed to overfly defenders to reach their targets... his passes are difficult to intercept.
SA: He's got the best placement in Liga1 midfielder wise... Adi Cristea, Spadacio & Co. can't really compare to him especially when it comes to long distance shots. Adi uses placement, Spadacio uses power with good accuracy but Curtean combines both aspects in a very spectacular fashion.
SP: A very hard shot and capable of scoring some obscure Carlos/Adriano type goals
Teamwork: No sense of communication with his teammates, neither Medias nor Timisoara and therefore one of the guys who rarely get a ball during a game.
